Fantastic Hotel.
the room was lovely, we had a fantastic view of the dolomites.
it is a very interesting and fascinating hotel, steeped in history, loved the old cannons out side the front & walking around the hotel seeing the old thick stone walls and shells was really interesting.
the food was excellent, good menu, slightly disappointed that there weren't more pizza and pasta dishes on the menu, but what we did eat, was very tasty & very good.
great breakfast with plenty of choice.
the staff were amazing, very friendly & helpful, they spoke very good English which was a great help as our Italian is very poor.
we were travelling across Europe by motorbike & i needed a new rear tyre for my bike, the owners kindly found me a motorbike garage in a town called Moena, 30 miles away, called them and arranged for us to go get a tyre fitted.
will definitely be looking to stay here again.

People without empathy
We can still live with that, but my husband got sick half the week and has not been to the restaurant to eat because of too sick. Never was my husband ever inquired about, I sat alone at the table every time, it was just an expression of interest to ask about my husband. When we left I asked to help me with the bags this was done, after he translated it to his wife in Italian and he ended with the words mamamia... we understand that (he didn't know we heard this )
So apparently friendly but that's just a sham
