Ugly to never repeat

Very bad in my room the television was very small the safe did not work the curtains that seemed broken you could not stay with only 6 hangers plugs were next to the television there was no air conditioning and we had a view with the railway

CAI Fermo in Basilicata.

We stayed with the half board formula in 47 + 2 (bus drivers) people, all members of the CAI of Fermo (FM) in the Hotel Due Pini in Melfi from 25 April 2024 to 04/28/2024 because it is also a post office stage of the Sentiero Italia; in all sincerity I can say that we received excellent treatment, both in terms of the rooms and above all for the food they served us, all excellent and plentiful local food. A special mention to the "guys", kind and friendly who put up with us and supported us patiently in all the requests we made.
We will definitely return also because the places we were able to visit were wonderful as were the people.

Does what it promises

The hotel was very clean and the housekeeping service was fantastic. The rooms were a good size and the beds comfy. The bathroom could do with a refresh as it was looking old but it was serviceable.
We had advised them we were towing a trailer and they had reserved us a specific space. Other than that carpark was plentiful.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Lots of bars and cafes some only 2 minutes away. Castle and old town is a 15 minute walk. Area very safe to walk around.
All in all a great stop over and it is dog friendly too!
