Worst experience in Merano – avoid these apartments
Extremely rude staff. After I complained in the morning about night-time noise and the lack of a blanket for my child, I received a message saying my booking was cancelled – just to block me from posting a review on Booking.com. This is dishonest and unacceptable. Most windows face the building’s staircase rather than the street, and one window had ELECTRICAL WIRING attached – a serious safety hazard. Absolutely negative experience.

Our house, an 800-year-old timber-framed building, is designed with its historic charm in mind. The unique staircases and winding rooms are part of what makes the property special. We understand that this may be different from modern accommodations, but it’s precisely these features that give the house its character.
Regarding your booking: it was made in the early evening for the same day for 3 adults and a baby. Normally, guests let us know if they need a baby cot, but we did not receive such a request in your case, so we assumed the baby would sleep in the bed. At check-in, we learned that you were actually accompanied by a 7-year-old child rather than a baby. We did not receive any requests for additional blankets or other accommodations, and there were no concerns raised at the time of check-in or during your brief interactions with us. We also noticed you left for dinner shortly after check-in, but no further issues were mentioned at that time.
Your child was able to sleep on the sofa bed with their brother, and we provided a cushion and an additional blanket for comfort. As for children over a certain age, there is usually an additional fee, but we chose not to charge you this fee to ensure there was no inconvenience on your part.
We’d also like to address the windows: they are equipped with pigeon protection, which is safe and can be touched without risk. We hope this clears up any concerns you may have had.
Lastly, we would like to address the check-out process. Unfortunately, you checked out later than the agreed time. Rather than a calm and courteous departure, we found ourselves met with frustration, and we were spoken to in a manner that we found unexpected. You seemed to have no time for us, were unwilling to engage in conversation, and were quite arrogant and rude. We always aim to communicate respectfully and professionally with all our guests, and we were disappointed by the tone and behavior during your check-out.
We hope this explanation clarifies any misunderstandings. We always aim to provide a pleasant experience for all our guests and are genuinely sorry that your stay did not reflect this.

Just great!
What can I say, our stay was just great. Starting from the nice email contact with Aurelie, who answered all questions immediately and at any time. We stayed in February for four nights in the beautiful Maiolica suite. Even our little dog was warmly welcomed. The suite is very tastefully decorated, there were two bathrooms, one of them with a freestanding tub, everything is super modern. Shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, body oil, etc. was everything available and of great quality. So are bathrobes and slippers. Also the kitchen is very well equipped. The apartments are cleaned every day.
On the ground floor is Kuntino's where you can have breakfast. Unfortunately, I could only enjoy this during our stay in one day, as we arrived exactly during the winter break, otherwise I would have guaranteed breakfast there every day.
The location is also great, right in the arcade alley. And yet it was not loud and we slept wonderfully.
Aurelie was always approachable for us, had great tips for restaurants and bars and was also always available for a chat, a very great hostess! We will definitely come back!

What a gem!
We stayed in the Majolica Suite for a few days in July. It couldn't have been more perfect.
Highlights:
- An old building, meticulously renovated and utterly stylish
- Helpful, approachable owners who are on hand to help with restaurant recommendations etc
- A lovely café downstairs, serving a very nice breakfast
- And the location! You couldn't get more central. Perfect for shopping, visits to the Therme, access to the little chair lift to Tirolo... and parking is easy, just around the corner.
Lowlights
- None. And I almost always find something to criticise!

Gorgeous stay
Our stay was amazing, our Charme room was gorgeous, service and central location simply perfect, just a few minutes walk to the Thermal Baths. The cleanliness incredible and everything you need inside for a comfortable vacation. You will also find a list of very good restaurants inside the apartment. Thank you again
