Recommended structure for staying in Milan.

Recommended structure!
I stayed alone in a single room with a private internal bathroom.
The window of the room looked out onto the internal courtyard.
Highly recommended structure for the area which is quiet, there are various services nearby, such as bars, restaurants, supermarket etc.
The area is also very well connected by public transport. Several tram lines pass in Viale Piave, including line 9 which takes you directly to Milan central station, and 500 meters away is the Porta Venezia underground station (M1 Red line) useful for going to the center and also to San Babila where you can you can change for the M4 Blue line which takes you to Linate airport.
Room all ok, comfortable bed, shame only about a bit of mold near the air conditioning.
In the room there is also a small fridge, iron with ironing board, microwave and kettle.
So I recommend!

Excellent short stay - quiet comfortable room, good breakfast, kind helpful staff, great location

I had an excellent short stay in Jun 2019. The location was wonderful. Great breakfast. Very kind and helpful staff. I loved my room - quiet and comfortable. Very grateful for the upgrade. Will definitely return.

Understand what Affittacamere means

Affittacamere means privately owned letting rooms in a residential block. The price is much less than a hotel. It means the entrance is not through a hotel foyer, but gates and a staircase. The owner of Affittacamere Andronaco, Vincenzo, is a great guy. He sent me a Whatsapp meassage enquiring about my arrival time and gave very helpful advice on how to get there. He was very helpful in showing me the room and its facilities. The room was a fair size, wth the smallest en-suite shower room possible, but it worked. The room was quiet (athough Vincenzo helpfully provided earplugs) and was extremely well equipped incuding a microwave. The only thing I did not like was mutlti-coloured sheets. Your need four keys to get in from the street when the main gate is closed, but I soon got the hang of that. It is in a very good location, not too far from Porte Venezia Metro Station. Ther is a supermarket not far away if you want to take advantage of the microwave, and some restaurants at Porte Venezia. I will happy stay hete again.

Super nice host and clean and tidy room

We just returned from our stay at Affitacamere Andronaco and we were very pleased with the place. The host (Vincenzo) is welcoming and helpful - gave us a map and recommended nice places to eat. The room was clean and had useful amenities such as microwave, electric kettle, iron and a board, minibar. The location was excellent - about 30 minutes walk from the central station and 15 minutes to the Milan Cathedral. If one does not like walking, there are 2 metro stations at about 500 meters from the place, plus a tram stop at about 100 meters. The only downside was it was noisy, because it appears to be a busy street. I would totally recommend it as it offers very good value for money.

Pleasant Little Room

The owner/operator was very nice when we arrived a little late; our train was delayed due to weather and we got to town past checkin time. We walked from the station - it didn't take too long. He didn't mind and quickly got us into our room and settled. The room, especially the bathroom, was small but had everything we needed, including a little place to eat. It was comfortable and warm (it was unseasonably cold when we stayed). It's a good location. I would stay again and recommend to others.
