I stayed at this place as a family, the owner, sig.Gaspare, was very friendly and helpful. Very spacious rooms, breakfast appropriate to the period. Pleasant experience, in a beautiful place. Recommended!

Nightmare in Barracks

I stayed at this property in the hope of living a few relaxing days on the Coast, but unfortunately the experience was far from pleasant.
The structure has a very spartan, almost barracks look, and the room assigned to us was definitely substandard: dated furniture, bathroom without door, questionable level of cleanliness and virtually absent soundproofing (constant noises from the early hours of the morning, even on Sundays, both from the staff and other guests).
The main problem, however, was the approach of the owner, who was intrusive and disrespectful of guests’ privacy. On several occasions he adopted rude tones and decidedly unprofessional ways. In one case I even heard myself screaming at as I left the hotel, with phrases in dialect completely out of place.
Added to this is a general feeling of impatience towards guests: it almost seemed that our presence was an annoyance, rather than the reason why an accommodation facility should exist.
I state that I have been coming to the Amalfi Coast for over twenty years and I had never experienced such rudeness, especially to Minori, which I have always found welcoming and warm. Maybe the skyrocketing prices are going a bit to the head, making you lose sight of the sense of hospitality.
For what you paid, you would expect a minimum of attention, courtesy and respect – elements that are unfortunately completely absent. In the area there are many much more well-kept and hospitable facilities at the same (or even lower) price.
Ultimately, I would not recommend this property.
A stay can be simple or essential, but never at the expense of dignity and respect for customers.

Good hotel

I stayed at this hotel from 3 to 4 May 2025 with my family. Great hospitality. Clean rooms, which is no small thing, excellent and plentiful breakfast Excellent location very close to the center and ferries. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay for family!

Wonderful stay! The owners were so sweet, always greeted us warmly. Best cappuccino out of all the hotels we stayed. Beds were comfy and room was spacious. I enjoyed breakfast each morning. Just a couple minutes walk to the beach. I am dreaming of my next visit!
