The staff and hotel were excellent. Very clean rooms, excellent breakfast, bar was very good with a good selection of beers. Rooftop area was also nice with a good view over the city

Mixed review
Hello, I will give you my opinion on the Sweet Sleep hotel in Naples objectively, starting with the positive points:
Very well located near the central train station.
The staff speaks French.
The breakfast is decent, with a lot of savory options and few sweet ones, fresh pineapples and kiwis, and the young man at the coffee station is very kind and speaks French. Breakfast is served on the terrace.
Very good bedding and a safe.
Now for the negative points:
The room faced the street, and even on the 4th floor, it was very noisy all night with cars, scooters, and honking; even with the double-glazed window closed, don't forget earplugs!
Very few shelves in the room and none in the bathroom, making it impossible to place your toiletries...
Shower products are available in limited quantities and often nonexistent...
The TV has no French channels, but that's not a big deal...
The elevator was also out of order, but that can happen...
So when I see all the highly rated reviews, I start to have questions...
If you want a good restaurant near the hotel: Nonna Anna Alla Ferovia, mostly locals, always full, the dishes are excellent, especially the wood-fired pizzas, the best I have ever had; I recommend it without hesitation.
I also recommend the ice cream shop ILGelato Mennella in the same neighborhood.
As for the neighborhood, which is not necessarily well-known, we did not encounter any problems, aside from some trash lying in the streets, but that's Naples!

Nous sommes toutefois désolés que certains aspects de votre séjour n’aient pas pleinement répondu à vos attentes. Concernant le bruit, notre établissement se trouve dans une zone très centrale de Naples, proche de la gare et des principaux moyens de transport. Avec le début de la saison estivale, la ville est également beaucoup plus animée et fréquentée, ce qui peut malheureusement rendre certaines chambres donnant sur la rue plus exposées aux bruits extérieurs. Lors d’un prochain séjour, vous pourrez nous signaler votre préférence pour une chambre plus calme, côté intérieur, sous réserve de disponibilité.
Concernant les produits de douche, nos chambres disposent de distributeurs de savon et de shampoing. En cas de besoin, notre équipe est toujours disponible pour effectuer un réassort sur simple demande.
Pour ce qui est du manque d’espace d’appui dans la salle de bains, nous vous remercions pour cette remarque constructive. Les critiques de ce type sont très importantes pour nous, car elles nous aident à améliorer constamment le confort et l’expérience de nos clients.
Nous prenons également bonne note de vos autres observations et vous remercions encore pour les points positifs soulignés, ainsi que pour les conseils partagés aux futurs voyageurs.

My friend and I booked this Hotel as it’s located in a central area of Naples and easy to reach from/to the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were a couple of things to improve though; the drainage in the shower was blocked so we could only take very short showers without flooding the whole toilet. This was flagged with the hotel staff and they ensured this was going to be looked at but it seemed they didn’t as it wasn’t fixed. Also, the pillows are quite big so it was very uncomfortable to fall asleep and there were no other size/type of pillows in the room. The terrace with the jacuzzi was a nice addition to our stay, but unfortunately the other negative aspects made the whole experience not completely enjoyable. I would recommend to stay in here if you’re desperate for a central accommodation, but taking in consideration these points; it is not the safest/cleanest neighbourhood in Naples and the hotel lacks of modern facilities.

Amazing place.
Just returned after spending 5 nights at our favourite hotel. Rooms are lovely, spacious and very clean. Bed and pillows so comfortable. Lovely bar upstairs. Wonderful staff. Thank you to Manuel for the lovely coffee and to Eduardo, always a pleasure to see you. And to lovely Adeline. We wish you all the best for your new adventure in Berlin. You will be missed. Wish I had everyone's name. Perfect location and amazing views from roof terrace. See you in 5 weeks.
