Brilliant hotel in heart of Napoli

Great central location, staff extremely helpful (helped with trains/taxis) and gave good recommendations for local restaurants.
Hotel is right beside the great bars (€1 spritz nearby!) and the Maradona mural yet quiet at night.
If you want the Napoli experience, do yourself a favour and stay here, highly recommended and will stay here again

A nice discovery

The Toledo hotel is located in the historic center of Naples, Spanish quarters, its location, very close to the metro stop "Toledo" one of the most beautiful in Europe, allows quick and convenient travel.
The hotel is located in a 1700 building, equipped with a lift with a 24-hour reception.
Very nice and helpful staff.
My room the 202 was functional and equipped with everything you could need, quiet thanks to the fixtures and well heated and very important clean.
Breakfast is served from 8 am on the first floor, too bad there are no local specialties but overall it is a good breakfast.
In my opinion, both as price and as services is recommended.

Inoltre siamo molto lieti che la stanza le abbia garantito un soggiorno silenzioso e confortevole.
Prendiamo nota con interesse del suggerimento sulla colazione: integrare maggiormente le specialità tipiche del territorio è un ottimo spunto su cui rifletteremo per valorizzare ancora di più il legame con la nostra splendida città.

Very convenient hotel in Naples. The rooms were comfortable, not luxurious. About what you’d expect for a very old, but lovely building in the heart of Naples. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Air conditioning worked and was a welcome relief from the heat. Breakfast was delicious and served on the terrace. I’d definitely stay here again!

Furniture is very dated, matress and bedframes uncomfortable, water ac everything works but old, small barthrooms. Hotel is a very antique place, in a eclectic neighborhood and that is oretty mucj it but definetely not a 3 star nor a 8+ rating. Nothing to do with staff just overall socore..Sorry.

Tragic experience.

A tremendously dramatic experience; one star is even too much, but I cannot go with negative stars. Bathroom without hot water and with whiffs of sewage smell, room without a curtain but with the setup that wakes you up at dawn, if you can manage to sleep given the chaos outside the window and the loud noise that results, but the hotel provides earplugs... (useless), the shutter is broken and does not close like an old wardrobe, the nightstand and desk should be discarded, the mattresses are hard because they are too worn out, the pillows are so hard that I had to buy one, usually in hotels there are two pillows, one soft and one hard. Refrigerator not working. Let's move on to breakfast; for the savory part, there is a small packet of wieners to cook on a tiny, slow electric grill to share with whoever is toasting slices of bread, 4 eggs for everyone, and very little bread, which was already finished by 8:30 today, and that's it. For the sweet part, cappuccino or coffee and a small croissant, and only upon request, a tiny sfogliatella. All of this for an astronomical price of 325 for two nights. We had read in the reviews that the hotel is wonderful; who could have written that??... I, as a Neapolitan, would be ashamed to treat a guest in a way that gives this impression of neglect and indifference, making them feel out of place, as if they were stealing precious time from those who should welcome them.

Le sue critiche descrivono una situazione che prende le distanze da ciò che desideriamo offrire, ma vogliamo essere estremamente schietti: la nostra struttura si trova oggi a dover gestire sfide importanti per mettersi al passo con i grandi e rapidissimi cambiamenti che hanno travolto la città di Napoli negli ultimi anni.
Lavoriamo costantemente per colmare i nostri limiti strutturali e cerchiamo di compensare le mancanze logistiche attraverso la massima disponibilità e l'accoglienza del nostro personale, un aspetto che viene spesso apprezzato e sottolineato dai nostri ospiti. Per quanto riguarda l'aspetto economico, la tariffa applicata riflette una posizione centralissima e prezzi che sono purtroppo in linea con le dinamiche di domanda e offerta generate da un flusso turistico diventato estremamente elevato.
Le sue segnalazioni specifiche sul bagno, gli arredi e la colazione sono state condivise con la gestione: sono proprio feedback così dettagliati a darci l'opportunità di discutere concretamente dei problemi alla ricerca di soluzioni immediate.
La ringraziamo ancora per il suo riscontro, che stimola un'importante riflessione interna su come migliorare il nostro servizio.
