A dive into authentic flavors

We happened upon this
restaurant on the recommendation of a Sardinian couple we met during an excursion, and we were pleasantly surprised by the simplicity of the dishes, yet with that authentic taste that takes you back in time.
The mixed appetizer was delicious, with creamy pecorino to spread, cold cuts, vegetables, offal, and fried pecorino meatballs. The first courses are all homemade; the macarones de busa and the ravioli, both the ricotta and the pecorino ones, are exceptional. The roast suckling pig with potatoes is also excellent. Homemade desserts and a more than fair bill. Highly recommended!!!

The hotel is essential, and the food is good.

The hotel is essential, just as the guests who love the mountains and walks expect, focusing more on substance than on form. And here, the substance is provided by the breakfast, which is good and varied. The restaurant is a different story... a good restaurant with high-level staff and good food. The pane frattau is very good, abundant and flavorful; the cold and hot appetizer alone is worth the dinner, featuring a creamy, spicy, and flavorful spreadable pecorino, sweet liver (similar to Roman coratella?), and a bitter aftertaste, along with sweet fava beans that evoke the scents and flavors of spring. And then there is a roasted suckling pig that, unfortunately, does not reach the levels of those cooked over an open flame. The suckling pig salad is beautiful and refreshing. The vegetable soup is excellent. The sunset viewed from the terrace is spectacular.

This is an authentic and early model of eco tourism. The mountains are at your door. Locally run and inspired — everything you need and nothing else. Loved my stay. Perfectly comfortable, great art and the best terrace you could want with a deadly view of the valley in front and the awesome Mount Oliena looming over you. One thing would have made it perfect. Access to coffee before 7:45 am. How about a kettle or a machine in the hall?

Nice experience

Location in the middle of nature, view from the wonderful veranda. Unfortunately being passing through we did not stay at the hotel but we only had lunch. Local simple, clean, good typical menu... recommended. Spend on 30 euros per person
