A brilliant property in the heart of Palermo
A brilliant place.
A great room in the heart of Palermo.
Room was spotlessly clean and was decorated with a nice rustic vibe.
Yes, it is a bit noisy in the evening, but Palermo was buzzing and once the shutters are closed and the a/c is on it did not bother us.
The property is situated in a pedestrian zone, but the staff were very proactive in advising where we could park the rental car for free (10-15mins walk), or they can arrange to park at a local garage for a fee. This may be an issue for some, but for us it was fine and we loved staying here.

A gem in Palermo city
Great welcome, central and comfortable location despite having a small girl, breakfast very rich and with local products, cozy rooms, nice and clean, at check-in all the necessary information and maximum availability. We needed an early check in and it was made available to us without any problem. Very familiar atmosphere, we felt at home. Thank you thank you thank you

How sad! Non andate!
I called the structure which you sent me via whatsapp of the messages where I requested a Reservation by bank transfer of half the amount with the obligation not to include in the reason anything other than my last name, or paypal deposit with voice “friends and family” and after that I was required to pay in cash!
After calling to ask for clarification the owner even asked me for the total payment of the amount camping nonsense!
The next day via whatsapp she was still requesting payment, so I wrote to her that my company did not allow such a “strange” deposit payment so she gave me another checking account to make the payment and told me that there I could write in the reason everything you need!
After answering her that I did not like her “very particular” ways the lady deleted the messages not considering that I have screenshots! Plus he Locked me on WhatsApp Italia dei cubetti!!! Judge for yourself!

Gentile signora, grazie mille per la recensione e mi dispiace per quanto accaduto. Credo purtroppo che ci sia stato un fraintendimento ma, ahimè, la colpa credo anche sia stata mia che da americana, non mi sia espressa bene in italiano. Per quanto riguarda la chat cancellata, avendo centinaia di ospiti, cancello sempre quelle di ospiti passati o che non vengono. Ci tengo solo a precisare che la nostra struttura ha sempre operato nel rispetto delle regole.

KNOW IT BEFORE
We were disappointed because the B&B was presented to us by the owner as a luxury facility, however everything was below our expectations. Good breakfast and welcome, but right from the start there was a misunderstanding about the tourist tax. The owner had included it in the total price, but, once in the facility, I had to pay for it. The room was nice, but noisy and uncomfortable. The bed was attached to the wall and the free side had no bedside table. There is no lift to access the room and for this reason I had a bit of difficulty with my luggage. Finally, only once in the structure were we told that there was no luggage storage service. They then pointed out a bar where we could leave our bags, but once there, we found it closed. Contacted again, they showed us a laundry a little further away. All this at our expense both in terms of expense and time. If we had known everything earlier we would have quickly found another structure. We didn't have a good time.

I stayed here for two nights out of season, as it was February. We were welcomed by Simona, very kind and friendly, who gave us some tips about the city (including sharing links on WhatsApp) and accompanied us to our room. Ours was the largest one, "Santuzza", so in terms of size I would say pleasant: spacious, with two windows and an equally spacious bathroom. Modern, particular, very nice furnishings. Bed less comfortable than I imagined, but we know that the mattress is very personal, so..... We didn't notice the noise very much (maybe one evening, but not enough to prevent us from resting) because since it's winter the crowds are certainly different ; However, earplugs are available in the room. The only flaw in the room is the lighting in the bathroom! For a woman to do her make up in such little light was difficult, I used the small "mirror" in the room (very pretty!) but with very little light there too.... So I would improve this aspect! I would add that I met the girl who came to tidy up the room, I kindly asked her to replace a couple of towels for me and I found everything clean when I returned.
Breakfast: upon arrival we were asked what we preferred between savory and sweet.....The next morning we found the table set and for each room each small table had: cereals, yogurt, juice, bottle of milk, dry biscuits and a fresh sweet (croissant) or savory (pizzetta/panzerotto) product depending on the request. Coffee machine with pods and citrus juicer with oranges + fresh fruit available for everyone. Overall, a fairly good breakfast, but simple... there were no cakes or anything typical (a shame!!), but perhaps almost better... you leave the little hole to then appreciate the delicacies of the Sicilian pastry shop along the way ;- )
However, the disappointment came on the last day when it was not possible to use the luggage storage. Honestly, I hadn't read this detail on booking.
Such a pity! We had to pay for the service in a place not far from the b&b to keep our bags for the morning. Strange that they don't do this service, even though the space is limited.......
I also recommend the structure for its location, convenient for the walk that will lead to the main attractions of Palermo.
