Stefano is amazing!!!
He gave me a massage and he has a magic touch.
Stefano is very attentive and kind. He listened carefully to my needs.
After 10 minutes the knots in my neck and shoulders started to ease. After half an hour all tension melted away, and 1 hour later I was floating.
I recommend a massage with Stefano at the beginning of your holiday so you can really enjoy your staying in La Ciaccia.

Ferry experience
The hotel is located in a very quiet area and you can easily reach the center on foot. It has a very convenient private parking lot. View of the theater. The internal staircase is very beautiful. End of positive aspects
The hotel entrance is located on the -1 floor, so to access it you need to go down a few steps. Besides not being very nice (it feels like entering through a service door), it is not even convenient when you have luggage. The lobby appears quite antiquated and obviously dark, being underground. You get the impression of being inside a ferry; in fact, from the check-in desk, a long, austere, and narrow ferry-style corridor starts, which leads to the elevators (in reality, only one works). Arriving at the floor, our room is located immediately to the right of the elevator. An old brown door. The room is spacious but ugly: old floor, chipped and worn furniture. The air conditioning makes an infernal noise. The sofa bed where our son slept had springs that were flush with the mattress (you can feel them in your back). Even the sheets and the bedspread remind you of those on ships. Everything in the minibar costs extra (by now, everywhere else offers at least water for free). The worst money spent on the vacation. Go to one of the many apartments that Palermo offers, and you will be better off. PS I forgot: once parked, you have to leave the keys at the reception for security reasons. This goose too

This hotel is rated 4 stars but deserves 2.
There is no help with luggage.
The "restaurant" is not great, not good quality, and nothing is included, everything is extra and you always have to pay more!
The bathroom is poorly laid out and is not pleasant.
And, to finish, the view from the room is disappointing.
Don't let the 4 stars lure you in: this hotel clearly isn't at that level. A disappointing experience that is absolutely not worth the price asked.
I do not recommend this hotel at all, and advise you to choose another establishment.

Great Location, next door to MacDonalds for those who care

Atmosphere: this the first hotel I have stayed in where the reception staff 'ignore' you coming in and going out?
Room - good size, no view , very dark, had to keep the lights on all the time
Value: probably fair
Cleanliness: room service on a daily basis, however due to lack of 'lights' difficult to see if floor is getting cleaned?
Noise level: no outside noise, however if you want your AC on avoid room 115 (AC makes a dreadful noise) they leave air plugs for those who want need AC on
Amenities: the very basic more suited to a 3* hotel

A very good option in Palermo!
Undoubtedly, the best part of the hotel is the location: in front of the Politeama theater and close to the main attractions that can be reached on foot without any issues. The staff was very kind, and the room - although a bit outdated - was very comfortable and spacious. Despite being in the front, it was quiet and allowed us to have a good rest. The breakfast was varied and had an abundant selection. The cleanliness was adequate. The only inconvenience is that to enter and exit, one has to go down/up a staircase, which complicates things quite a bit with luggage. In fact, we had to request that a back exit be opened for us to take out the suitcases.
