A true gem in the Dolomites, we will be back!
The most wonderful stay from start to finish.
The rooms in the new building as absolutely wonderful. We booked a Suite Sol and we adored it, south facing, big, comfortable. All perfect.
The spa is the best hotel spa I have ever seen in a hotel. We are very used to going to Aufguss sessions at home but these were outstanding. All of them different, the sauna masters were simply amazing. Highly recommend it. The only negative side is the noise from the road from the outdoor area, but really, you zone out eventually and enjoy it fully.
The food, was truly the highlight of this place. Every menu each night was wonderful curated, different every night, and of excellent quality. Just don't over indulge on the salad buffet, because what comes next is too good to not finish.
A special thanks to Noah, a wonderful 20 year old who gave us so much great insight to the region, he has the experience of a 50 year old! Excellent waiter.
Then another thanks to Giuseppe, another great waiter who always looked after us, knowing our preferences and always being very kind to our dogs.
Same with Riccardo, knows the industry very well, extremely kind and knowledgeable. He also was extremely nice to our dogs over the week.
Here you also pay to have a dog in the room, but trust me, it is worth it. They provide a bed, a water bowl and some food also upon arrival, so they are especially taken care of and are allowed everywhere except the spa & wellness area (which makes sense)
The only negative point (and it is minor!) was that during our whole week stay we didn't have a refill of our Nespresso capsules. When I asked the cleaning lady, she advised there was an issue with the order. We then proceeded to buying our own capsules at the local shop as we didn't get any new ones over the whole week. The hotel could have in our opinion done the same as an intermediary solution until their order arrived. But again, minor detail but as a person who loves their morning coffee on the terrace, this was a little annoying.
All in all we had such a nice stay, and we will most definitely be back!

Very great experience
At first, this hotel seemed absolutely perfect. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the staff were always friendly, welcoming, and professional. The pools were clean, the entertainment was great, and the overall atmosphere was exactly what you would expect from a true five-star resort.
Everything was going so well that I was convinced I had found one of the best hotels I had ever stayed in.
Unfortunately, there was one major issue that completely ruined the experience: the sunbed situation. Every morning, guests would reserve dozens of sunbeds with towels long before they actually used them. Many of these beds stayed empty for hours while other guests had nowhere to sit.
What makes this especially disappointing is that the hotel does absolutely nothing to stop it. A five-star hotel should manage this properly, but instead they simply allow it to happen every single day. It creates unnecessary frustration and makes the whole experience feel far below five-star standards.
It’s a real shame because everything else is excellent. Such a cheap and lazy approach to a problem that could easily be solved significantly lowers the overall standard of the hotel. Without this issue, the hotel truly deserves five stars—but because they refuse to address it, it brings the entire hotel down to a much lower level.
Update: After sharing my concerns, I have to give credit where it’s due. The management listened carefully to the feedback, came to apologize in a very friendly and professional manner, and even tried a solution to improve the sunbed situation. I really appreciate that they took action instead of ignoring the issue. It shows that they genuinely care about their guests and are willing to make improvements.
Thanks to the way the management handled the situation and their willingness to take action, my final impression is now much more positive.

Total wellness!!!
I consider the structure to be at the top among the various facilities I have personally frequented, due to its mix of environments, staff, and services.
An excellent facility for those seeking the highest level of relaxation. The SPA area allows for various experiences in very spacious environments, avoiding the risk of excessive overcrowding.
The culinary offerings are gourmet! The wine list is of excellent quality, especially for those who enjoy tasting wines from South Tyrol... but not only that.
Every year, my wife and I treat ourselves to a moment of relaxation by spending 3 to 4 nights at Solvie. An unmissable appointment!!!

Hotel Solvie, where you can experience a dream vacation.
Hotel Solvie offers a vacation beyond expectations. I would like to first highlight the commitment, friendliness, and professionalism of all the staff without exception.
Solvie is a gem to be discovered and experienced.
Clean and beautiful rooms, even those in the older part of the building.
Dining is the hotel's point of excellence, with high-level cuisine and, in particular, a very appreciated attention to gluten-free cooking, which is essential for my wife who is celiac.
Excellent services, with excursions that are very well organized and accessible to everyone, whether they are more athletic or less so. The SPA is beautiful, with areas dedicated to naturism and spacious areas for everyone, with plenty of spots available; there are never any problems finding space for relaxation. Excellent cleanliness. A big compliment to the professionalism and commitment of the boys and girls at the SPA!
It quickly became our favorite hotel, and we hope to return soon!

A New Favorite – Stunning Views & Relaxing Luxury
We’ve stayed in countless hotels, and Hotel Solvie has quickly become one of our absolute favorites.
We spent three nights here and were blown away by the panoramic views from the breakfast area, sky pools, and sauna — simply breathtaking. The entire ambience was serene, elegant, and welcoming.
The food was exceptional — compliments to the chef and team! Housekeeping was consistently excellent as well, with our room always spotless.
One small disappointment that’s why i’m only giving a 4: this stay was meant as a birthday trip, and despite noting it in advance, there were no special touches or acknowledgment. A simple gesture would have gone a long way.
Service at the restaurant was also slightly inconsistent; while some staff members were warm and attentive, others felt a bit distant. However, we’d like to give a special shoutout to Samuel, Nikola, Anni, Marion, and Alessandro for their outstanding hospitality.
Would we still recommend Hotel Solvie? Absolutely — without hesitation!
