Absolutely coming back next year
Lovely and hospital staff, nice parking lot, beautiful beach view from my window and great buffet at breakfast. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone.

A nightmare
I am leaving one star only because Google does not give me any other option. I wouldn't know where to start complaining, actually, yes: from the welcome. Because, once I arrived at the abandoned Pietrasanta station I remained on the phone waiting for a taxi for a good hour and a half. I repeat: an hour and a half. Uber doesn't work, the app neither, so I call the hotel to understand what to do and I am told “well, dunno, yes, maybe, so let's see, I don't know”. In the end a perfect stranger picks me up who by chance was passing by there and was headed in my same direction. I tell myself “ok, there must be many tourists to serve.” In reality, Marina di Pietrasanta, judging by the beaches and the streets, was almost empty. And it is the end of July. Let's get to the hotel itself now: About €500 for 3 nights without breakfast. As mentioned, it's the end of July, high season, Versilia isn't famous for being cheap, so it would be okay if it weren't for the atrocious, old, musty room, and the myriad of hairs that weren't mine (if only they were!) on the floor.
Bolstered by the experience of arrival and an evening in Forte dei Marmi spent waiting for another ghost taxi for an hour, the afternoon before departure I ask at reception for a taxi for the following morning at 6:30, having the train at 7:03. The receptionist, a young and kind girl (it must be said), goes out of her way to find me a solution and after a few hours tells me that there are no taxis but that the owner has offered to take me, clearly for a fee. I say that there are no problems and I thank her. At 6:45 a gentleman arrives who, without asking anything about the stay and without asking me for the room keys, hits me with 40€ (guys, FORTY EUROS) for the service. I didn't mention that it's a 4 km distance between the hotel and the station. If it hadn't been for the suitcases, I would have walked that road on my knees rather than pay 40€ for something like that.
For the record, I gave him 50 of my own free will, 10 extra "for the trouble of having made him get up so early."

It would not deserve two stars
Disappointing experience, not up to expectations.
"Unfortunately, my stay at this property was not satisfactory. The room was definitely dated, with mismatched furniture that seemed to be the result of random combinations of different styles, lacking a coherent line.
The bathroom also presented several critical issues: the absence of a window made the room poorly ventilated, to which was added the serious inconvenience of a non-functioning showerhead that made using the shower difficult. Furthermore, I encountered a lack of attention to basic details, such as the complimentary toiletries (the shower cap was missing).
The most painful point, however, was the breakfast service: I would define the offering as embarrassing and presented in a decidedly neglected way. It was also an unpleasant surprise to note the absolute unavailability of gluten-free products, even though today it is a standard requirement in almost every accommodation facility.
Decent cleanliness
The only positive note is the location.

In a villa
The real Versilia is moving right here. The hotel recalls the Fort of the past. Reasonable price, well-kept and spotless rooms, good food and above all an 'extraordinary Welcoming. All this beachfront but far from the confusion. To return even out of season.
