TOP truffle tasting.
In the hamlet of Fiume, at the end of the water trail for those starting from Pievetorina, this Relais is located in a restored part of the village. It is a place a bit out of the ordinary, set up to create a corner of tranquility on a human scale. The staff is very kind and friendly, full of explanations. We chose the truffle-based menu proposal, starting with cold cuts (truly generous). Nothing to say about the food, everything was excellent (truffle omelet, truffle potato, ricotta with truffle...). All products are homemade, and the truffles are harvested directly from the adjacent lands. We were also offered an anisette produced there as a digestif. The interior is very well-kept, it looks like a farmhouse with tools and instruments from the past, which still has a modern and refined style. The exterior where we ate is certainly less elaborate in terms of table setting, but it fits within the overall philosophy. Our experience ended at lunch, but it is definitely a place to be experienced as a complete stay.

Sensory reality is.... Not only that!
We didn't end up there by chance, but we had heard about it.
Elena and Moreno, a couple of beautiful Souls, have invested strength and energy into this sensory reality; from the moment you are welcomed, you are catapulted into a world made of small gestures and attentions filled with good manners, good food, and a feeling of well-being where you are considered not a tourist but a Guest. Food, environment, and the pursuit of good living surrounded by nature is what you will find in this place, with all the rich history of its origins behind it.
We were at Romito for a rich aperitivo-dinner for an important family occasion, but we will definitely return to stay there as well and recharge to face our hectic daily life.

The meeting of an enchantment
When I encounter good taste, the old good taste of ancient things, of good things, of hanging gardens over crystalline waterfalls, of discreet candles on the low walls of the village, of paths of grass and mint between centuries-old stone sides, of artisan shops turned into fantastic refuges, of cornflower colors in the evening shadows, the furnishings leaning against the walls, the old marbles turned into sofas, when I encounter the care in the drapes, light, sturdy, sailing between the tables and over the windows of the sky like secure flakes while the mind navigates in a dream, the scent of sage, and of rosemary, among the laurel hedges, the moderate notes of sinuous melodramas from a distant radio, the warbling of a fountain among the fig leaves and the geraniums in the good, caressing lights, of an exact line of electrons, which on the roofs become garlands, I no longer congratulate myself, by now, I no longer get excited, by now, much less am I amazed, I abandon myself to the enchantment; instead, a little later, a trickle of bitterness, of sadness, even of anger runs through me towards those who can no longer see, understand, or simply let, let beauty take its natural course. Because nothing requires more fullness and balance of senses, and meticulousness, nothing, however, also, simplicity, silence, absolution to it, which no one knows anymore in today's crowd of noises. And yet here, in this corner of the planet straddling the last plains to the east of the Franciscan lands and the first whispers of the Sibyls, beyond its door of stars, in this fairytale enchantment, this time I surprise myself, I am enraptured, I let myself be taken like a child in a fairytale, and I smile. Surprised. Shaken. Happy.

La Pace
Non era nostra intenzione,dopo il cammino delle acque di Pieve Torina,fermarci e mangiare qualcosa nei paraggi...ma l'atmosfera che ci ha accompagnato fin dai primi passi ci ha poi portati dritti dritti in questa osteria incantata...
Originale il menù,tutto creato da loro dal pane alla raccolta del tartufoche lo ritroverai poi in alcuni piatti proposti.
Una parola che rimbombava nella testa era "la pace".

Ottimo
Siamo stati accolti nella bellissima cornice di Fiume con un sorriso. Cibo buonissimo, prezzo ottimo come la qualità dei prodotti. Abbiamo riscoperto il nostro territorio.
