Better to sleep under a bridge than at your place!

I was waiting to write a review to see if you would refund the room we never used, but since that is not the case.....Never been to a worse place! The property "smelled" old, breakfast was already prepared with packaged cakes and discount milk, 37 degrees outside and inside since we found the windows open and a portable air conditioner that was a joke! You are shameful for charging 140 euros for a room! Just stick to the food, you might make a better impression!
P.s. having read the previous review, I see that I am not the only one who did not appreciate it..

TERRIBLE experience

I stayed for one night before embarking for Elba.
The room was clean enough, but soap/body wash was missing (thank goodness I had my own).
The big problem was an unbearable smell of sewage that saturated the room; I aired out the room for several hours, ran water in the bathroom to see if it would go away... the nauseating and unhealthy smell persisted throughout the entire stay, it felt like being inside a septic tank.
I felt nauseous all night long.
After contacting the lady at the reception around 9:30 PM, at about 11:00 PM she replied that the room is clean but the drains are not her responsibility and if I wanted to find another solution myself, I would have to leave the room to get a refund. I had to find the solution myself?????
No refund is worth what I suffered tonight; in the morning, no one showed up. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED
And don't let anyone tell me I could have left; where was I going at that hour?
