Average stay with friendly staff

The front desk staff were quite friendly, but the room and breakfast were just average. The location is a bit on the remote side. Overall, it's clean but nothing spectacular.

Hotel looks a little rundown. Also, I left my wall charger/adapter called them to see if I could pick it up and they said they had nobody to check the room, went the next day and the receptionist didn’t care to even say hi… yet alone to see if it was turned in. I guess be very careful of leaving something in the room!! It will vanish.

Quality is substandard for the price!

Lots of wear and tear on cupboards and other furniture, both in the room (e.g. bedside table with pieces out) and in the dining room.
The mattress of the bed was worn.
It wasn't dirty there but it all looked so poor because of worn out and not refurbished. For example, a chair with a loose backrest in the dining room, visible stains of leakage in the ceiling where breakfast is served and in the entrance hall. A rotten plinth in the ladies' room.
Breakfast was adequately good and the staff was fortunately very forthcoming!

Stay Away - Avoid the Insults

Booked a room for my family using points and were welcomed as substandard guests looking for a freebie. Super unpleasant experience at check-in…teased that the upgrade could be revoked “if the hotel wants to” because the Bonvoy member was not present at check in despite the other (adult) guests being listed on the reservation as authorized to check in. Breakfast was denied despite being a Titanium member, and I had to call Marriott Global Customer Service to get them to talk some sense into their colleagues at this hotel. To add insult to injury, they revoked the already-approved late check out…all because the Bonvoy member wasn’t there but had authorized everything in advance.
Family moved to a Hilton hotel in another nearby city and was welcomed as family…used Hilton Honor points and there were absolutely NO issues with checking in and other program benefits.
Stay away from the AC Hotel in Pisa until someone teaches them how to treat loyal Marriott Bonvoy members (and people in general).

Overrated

Let's say that it all started with the booking; within 12 hours, the cost of the room changed three times, increasing by over €50 from the initial price. Someone might ask, why didn't you choose another hotel? Unfortunately, due to work, we were almost obligated. The room was clean; I cannot say otherwise, but from a 4-star hotel, I expect at least freshly painted walls and properly arranged wallpaper. And finally, the breakfast, which cost an additional €15 on top of the room rate, had a limited selection of pastries, like 4 mini croissants, a tart, and a donut, along with some eggs, bacon, and rolls. I am sorry, but for what I paid, it is not worth it.
