On average I go to Pisa every two years. I always stay in the same hotel, especially for the availability, friendliness, kindness of the staff

It’s close to the Pisa Central Train Station, only 5 minutes walk, super convenient for those staying in Pisa for transit. The room looks ok, but the tiles are old and stained, therefore a felt of uncleanliness. Toilet wise, the toilet bowl and the heating bar are dusty, including the kettle, a bit unhygienic, doesn’t feels like they clean before we enter the room. But the host is friendly, as I arrive later than policy-stated check in period, they let us in easily without further troubling us.

The method of entrance to the hotel and the fact that at 6.00 pm there was no receptionist is unacceptable to me. I needed a code to open the front door, which was not given to me as I did not have a password for the wifi system. The whole procedure was terrible and took 30 minutes. I had to lift my cases 45 steps to the top floor of the hotel. People may accept this lack of service, but it should be made clear when booking. There was no information in the hotel about the wonderful town - not even a map. Disgraceful.

Okay for one night

I ended up booking this last minute as our other booking fell through. We requested a cot for our daughter only to be told upon landing that there was no cot available! When I said that they should probably have informed us of this BEFORE we got on the flight, I got a reply saying ‘you can cancel if you want’. The room had 3 single beds in it, although we had booked a room with double bed (and cot) and so we ended up pushing them all together against the wall and putting the baby on the innermost bed! The hotel was very loud all night. The walls are paper thin.
The next morning we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent water pressure in the showers. The hotel is also very well situated for the leaning tower as well as lots of restaurants and shops. It is also about 1 minute away from the train station which was ideal for us as we left to go to Cinque Terre.
I think this hotel is tolerable if you’re only staying for one night in transit to somewhere else.

Very well placed to visit the tower

Hotel very well placed to visit the tower, the entrance to the site is 10 m. No parking. You have to drop off your luggage and find a private parking 400 m from the hotel. Avoid the ground floor room. The window cannot be opened and it is located between the front door and the reception. Very loud, then.
No breakfast. A coffee maker in the bedroom.
Nothing to say about cleanliness unlike other critics.
