Wonderful

Our room was so nice renovated and with a great terrace. We really enjoy everything there! The breakfast was so good! Best location to take the ferry in Portovenere. Was waking distance to have dinners. The staff was so helpful with us so I highly recommend this great hotel.

BAD

I GIVE ONE STAR BECAUSE IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO GIVE ZERO. Abandoned structure and no one who responds after booking!!!!!! We booked with Smartbox, with confirmation of booking and after arriving there we were in disbelief. No one ever answered the intercom, much less the phone. SHAMEFUL! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BOOK.

Don't trust me!!!! Absolutely structure to avoid with smartbox!!

Unfortunately I cannot review after the experience because I was unable to do it due to the manager, Emanuele, being incorrect. I stupidly trusted him and the booking via email after several phone calls. We had 3 smartboxes plus we would have paid for a fourth room and he had assured us that we could stay with all three smartboxes in the same night. Unfortunately, two weeks before our overnight stay he sent me an email canceling the booking, giving explanations without logical sense, contrary to what he had told me and assured me by phone and email. Beyond the negative reviews that can be read, I can say that Smartbox confirmed to me that this person was incorrect, as he should have immediately made the reservation with our codes to have extra security. My mistake in trusting the wrong person. Don't trust me if you have a smartbox!!! Canceling a reservation two weeks later.. For 10 people.. A fool!!!

Nice Hotel and Staff

Stayed for 3 nights in September 2017 - Nice Room and Relaxing Venue -Fridge and TV in room. Modern Room . Staff were very nice and helpful including Michael the Manager - offers a good budget price but agree best to have a car if you stay here .Buses to Portovenere or La Spezia is 2 Euro each - 20 minute journey from each to hotel so you can add 8 euro to price per day if you are a couple.Breakfast was good

Great price, perfect for our needs

We stayed here after walking in the cinque terre before getting the train from La Spezia the next morning. It was relatively simple to hop on a local bus in La Spezia (need prepaid ticket), get off and walk the 3 minutes to the hotel. That evening we walked down to the little town and had a lovely seafood meal surrounded by locals. The room was clean and big enough and the breakfast had a good variety. I forgot my charger in the room and phoned the hotel that afternoon after returning to France. They very kindly sent it on without delay. The price for one night is extremely good. We would recommend this place.
