Perfect B&B with a great view of Positano in all its beauty

The most wonderful spot in the world. Can’t say enough about our host Amalia and the location. She made us feel st home, made a special breakfast for us every morning and called several places to book things for us. Above and beyond. And the scenery is breathtaking.

Wonderful Villa in Positano!

The amalfi coast is second to none. And the views from this property did not disappoint! The villa is well located and is clean and comfortable. The owner and her family are very nice and extremely helpful in planning things to do. She provided exquisite breakfasts daily. Will definitely go back!

Heaven in Nocelle!

We spent 6 nights at Villa Antica Macina with the most amazing cooks & host, Amalia & Lucy. We had the blue room with beautiful large terrace, full kitchen, refrigerator with daily needed items, comfortable bed, great WiFi, & the owner, Amalia will assist you with arranging transportation for day trips, a private boat tour in Capri, & come to your room & prepare a specially made to order breakfast every morning ! Enjoy the quiet of the country & Amalia’s hospitality & stay here!

Fantastic

What a fantastic experience. This location is out of this world.
The Amalfi coast and sea open from the terrace, from all the windows, even from the bathroom. The apartments are beautifully decorated. The host Amalia and her maid Lucia make a delicious breakfast in your own kitchen following your wishes. All the time they are friendly and helpful whatever you are asking.
Positano is easy to reach as the local bus runs every hour from Nocelle and back. There is also a parking place nearby for your own car. Path of the Gods trekking route starts from the village.
Simply, words can't describe how unique this place is.
You only live once. Make sure you visit Villa Antica Macina.

Amalia’s secret recipe….

If there is a natural remedy for lightening life’s load, it’s a dose of Amalia’s secret recipe - Villa Antica Macina in Nocelle. To review the experience properly would require a nearly complete discussion of all 3 parts - Nocelle, the Villa, and Amalia. Separately, each is uniquely perfect - together, Mama Mia!! There’s just too much to share to properly describe the experience so let’s summarize it into one sentence - we loved it so much, we were so impressed with every minute, every view, every bite, every conversation, every wake-up, every sunset, every hug that we planned all the sacrifices that most of us need to make to take a vacation of the sort…and returned a year later for another dose. If there could be a more perfect experience, the second time was it. Thank you, Amalia, for sharing your happiness. We will see you again soon….
