Comfortable and cosy Italian hotel!
I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Delle Rose in Rapallo for more than 2 weeks. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian hotel this is the place! The building is an old, typical Ligurian home that has been converted into a small hotel. The rooms I stayed in were large with big windows, high ceiling and beautiful marble floors with updated bathrooms. I even had a room with a small balcony to sit on and enjoy some afternoon sun. The beds were comfortable and clean and the rooms were serviced everyday by friendly staff.
The breakfast that was included was great. You had everything that you’d want from an Italian breakfast plus some things for kids and fresh fruit. The coffee machine made a good espresso or cappuccino and a dozen other types of drinks. There is also tea and cookies available in the same room during the rest of the day.
The location is also ideal, just on the outer edge of Rapallo the centre is only about a 8 or 10 minute walk along via Aurelia or through the park across the street.
The staff were absolutely wonderful. Enrico and his family were warm, kind and very happy to help if I ever needed anything.
I would highly recommend this charming and authentic hotel and would return next time I’m in the area.

A beautiful and cozy oasis in Rapallo.
What a fantastic little oasis in Rapallo. There is a very special atmosphere as you stand in front of the beautiful mansion villa and step up the winding stairs through a lush garden. We were well received. Our double room was large and decorated in the spirit of the house with beautiful older furniture, an incredibly nice terrace floor, comfortable bed and views of housing and lush gardens and the sea. In the room where breakfast is served, you can easily imagine that there have been nice companies. It is so beautiful and cozy and there are a couple of armchairs where I could like to enjoy an extra cup of coffee after breakfast. There was both chessboard and piano and the atmosphere throughout the entire hotel with only about 15 rooms, was that one felt welcome and could relax. The buffet tables with breakfast contained a very large selection of sweet delicacies (we counted at least 8 types of cake), as well as delicious foccaci bread and small breads, cheese, fresh cheese, other order, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh fruit and various breakfast products a la cornflakes. Great coffee and juicer, tea.
It took us 15-20 minutes to walk to the train station, and should you just go down to the water or the restaurants, it was an easy walk down the park in 10 minutes.
I have absolutely nothing negative to say. Feel in a nice little time pocket and it was a perfect place to relax before and after walks along the coast. One day we sailed to Portofino and went all the beautiful coastal road back. We booked an extra night to have a day to relax and enjoy the place before we went on our journey.
It took us 15-20 minutes to walk to the train station, and should you just go down to the water or the restaurants, it was an easy walk down the park in 10 minutes.

A real gem
Lovely, small family run hôtel, set in an historic and atmospheric building, perched on a hill above the glorious, vibrant town of Rapallo. The staff were charming and helpful, breakfast was abundant and full of interest and the location was ideal. A short walk through a verdant park brings you to the hustle of the town.
