Wonderful staff made for a fantastic stay. Nondescript building but great base for exploring the city.

Good location, clean room with excellent, thoughtful service. Room was much too small; bed was too firm.

Highly recommend Da Me Suites. Just a couple of minutes walk from the Metro station, but easy to walk into the Centre. Lovely restaurants nearby as well.
Staff were very friendly and easy bought to get in and out of the hotel as the desk isn't managed 24/7, but they are contactable if needed.
Would highly recommend here for a stay in Rome.

A superior 3-star B&B.
Normally, many of us who travel, before doing so consult the different opinions that other travelers leave on "Tripadvisor", however, in my opinion, those opinions are often very subjective since perhaps those details, large or small that some do not like or dislike, may not interest or dislike others.
So, after a few trips under my belt, from now on and starting with the latter, I decided to take the minutes necessary to capture my experience about different hotels in the most objective way possible.
GENERAL: It is located 5 minutes walk from Piazza del Popolo and the beginning of Via del Corso, a long avenue that links Piazza del Popolo and the monument to Vittorio Emanuele II and that is one of the main avenues of the Italian capital.
It is a 3 star B&B, very good, very new and very comfortable, you enter on the ground floor a building and the B&B itself is located on the first floor.
At the reception there are only staff until 14.00 hours. But that is no problem, both to enter the building, as to do it to the B&B and later to the room you have the corresponding keys, but also both the entrance door to the building and the B&B have entry codes, all very easy.
What do I mean by this?, that although there are no staff after 14.00, that is not a problem, security seems very good, also there is always a phone number to be able to communicate with any need and as if that were not enough, at the entrance to the building, which is an old palace, there is a doorman.
ROOM: The room (at least I was in) is excellent, very large, very well distributed, with a very comfortable king bed, there is also a large armchair with two bodies and a rectangular table where you can support things, everything looks impeccable.
The bathroom is also large and everything works properly.
Everything looks impeccable and new, plus something that is very important, the room faces the street and the soundproofing is perfect, on the other hand the WI FI is very good.
LOCATION: As I said, it is located just 5 minutes walk from Piazza del Popolo and from where Via del Corso originates, the area is very safe, and presents no problems.
Many will wonder if it is well located with respect to whether it is close or far from the points of interest, well, the reality is that Rome is a city that does not concentrate its sights in a certain area, on the contrary, they are scattered and at a considerable distance from each other, what I mean is that the hotel, like any other in the city, is close to some points and far from others, everything depends, for example, is close to Via del Corso so if you are looking for the best shops to do shopping the location is excellent, across the Tiber River is close to the Prati neighborhood, a very quiet and very commercial neighborhood and also close to the Vatican, but on the other hand it is not very close to the Colosseum or Piazza Venezia, everything depends on each one, for me that I like to walk that is not any problem, but well worth clarifying.
STAFF: Here it must be clarified that staff only saw one per day and was always the same young man, very friendly, very helpful and who does practically everything and who is until 14.00 hs. To tell you the truth, being a B&B you don’t need more, everything works like a private apartment.
CLEANING: This is a point very much in favor and that deserves to be highlighted, everything, absolutely everything is shiny, impeccably clean, hygiene “smells in the air”, everything is extremely clean and this, at least for me, is very important and worth highlighting.
BREAKFAST: Breakfast brings you to the room (the same young man I talked about above). It works as follows: on a printed paper that contains the items served, you mark what you want and also the amount you want and finally put it in a kind of acrylic box located next to the door on the outside.
Although the breakfast is good, (good quality, everything fresh and well served), it is not very varied, the options available to choose are not many, it is not scarce because one can order the quantity you want, but there is no variety.
CONCLUSION: I want to clarify that I always speak only based on my experience, trying to be as objective as possible and recording those things that for me are really important and deserve to be highlighted, both for and against, leaving aside small details that do not take away or add anything.
Having said that I want to finish by saying that I found the hotel very good, I felt very comfortable, like I was at home. The truth is, I was surprised for good.
The location, as I said, is relative, for some things it is good and for others not so much, but that will happen to any hotel they choose in Rome, here the important thing, at least for me, is that the room is comfortable and very good, I would say excellent, as well as the cleanliness and the very good service.
Finally I reiterate what I always say, as these types of opinions are usually very subjective and are based exclusively on my personal experience, I do not recommend or fail to recommend any hotel, I only contribute my experiences so that each one then draw their own conclusions and decide for themselves, in this case the hotel I liked, I felt very comfortable and very well treated, so I allow myself to give you a vote of confidence.
