We had a great stay! Location was great. Only a few minutes to the metro or train. Only a few stops to most of the sights in Rome. Lots of good restaurants nearby.

Terrible customer service and total lack of empathy

A few days before my stay, my mother-in-law passed away; the funeral took place on the same day as my scheduled stay. Of course, I was unable to travel to Rome and stay at the hotel as per the normal schedule. I tried in vain, in the days leading up to my stay, to inform the hotel of the problem; I did not ask for a refund, but to change the dates of my stay. I was told that it was not possible, as the hotel would incur an economic loss.
I pointed out that they should not have to grant any refund, just change a date.
But the response did not change; the hotel would not grant any simplification. It does not matter if a loved one has passed away, it does not matter the pain you have had to face; business is business and does not look anyone in the face, not even death. Someone used to say let us remain human; here humanity has passed, an accidental element not foreseen unless it brings business.

A unique hotel, clean and quiet. The rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly and professional.

Hotel with Good Transportation Options

Hotel location is really good as it is 5 mins walking from Train station (accessible with direct non-express train to airport) and 10 mins walking from Subway. It was really nice to stay in a local neighbourhood with lots of non-touristy restaurants and small grocery stores. The front desk was very helpful and easy to work with. The breakfast dining area is very nice - glass covered area overlooking the garden. The room was clean but with worn carpet and chipped paint on parts of the wall. The bathtub has a higher edge to get in for the shower which may cause some people problems. FYI - The Rome tourist tax is paid at the hotel. I would stay here again and rate at 4.5 out of 5

Very nice in the pyramid area.

Very beautiful hotel, full of art and greenery. I did not stay here but attended a course, and the staff is attentive and offered a very good buffet.
Everything is clean and kept in perfect condition.
