very affordable, great hosts with parking out side.

We chose this hotel because they had parking for our vehicle which is very hard to find in Rome.
Train station 300 meters away for a trip into Rome, (only problem is you need to change trains) about 20 min train ride into centre of town.
Hotel it's self was modest but very clean with breakfast downstairs.
Parking is in street but neighbourhood is very safe.

Clean, affordable & peaceful.

this hotel was in a nice area. My parents had a room for 2. We had a suite with 2 rooms. 1 room had a queen bed and the other 2 singles. Complimentary breakfast. Also a nice outdoor, gated patio. We sat outside drinking wine and snacks on this very large area. We liked that it was only 1/2 mile to the train station and Café. More of a quite setting in a quite neighborhood, which was nice after spending a busy day in Rome! Still in Rome, but again...quite area. Grocery store with affordable items to stock the Fridge! Clean and affordable and peaceful.

a good deal

So, we travel by car 2200km and by the time we arrived the room was ready.
HOTEL - the location is 5 min from a train station and it was as the booking page described, we asked for a double bed and we had a twin (one next to the other), it was ok, the room is large enough to accommodate 2 persons, but the bathroom is smaller then usual (my opinion) and the shower is fixed to the wall. every day the maid clean the room and take the garbage, the reception guys were very kind and very helpful with directions and different things. WIFI is on every level and is free, the parking is on the street and 2 cars can be parked in garage, the breakfast is simple 1 type of cheese and 1 type of ham, no eggs (just the last 2 days was some scrambled eggs) and some good croissants.
MOVING AROUND ROME - because we travel by car we were not interested in public transport but as I saw was easy to use the train and metro (2 lines A and B), so we drove. Parking in Roma is easy, you have to circle a bit the point of interest you wanna visit and the street parking is marked : WHITE LINES - free (very hard to find) BLUE LINE - is with cash 1-1,2 euro/h (depend of area) and 4 euro/8h (which I use) deci nu parcati ca-n Romania ca se dau amenzi si se si ridica. YELLOW LINES - is for person with disabilities, diplomats, different governmental and other with special permit. The gas is about 1.7-1.8 euro/liter, vigneta Slovenia 15 eur-7days / ungaria 15 eur - 10 days. the family restaurants you can find them in back streets next to touristic attractions.

Simple but clean

We stayed in this hotel when we booked a 3-day tour to Rome. We were given a room in a basement with only a small window. Generally I am not a very demanding guest so I didnt mind. The room was clean but beds werent very comfortable. The choice of breakfast was ok. There is a free wifi available at the hotel and a nice terrace outside where we sat and drank wine which was very pleasurable :) The connection to centre of Rome during day is good. The hotel is about a 10 minutes walk from the station. I have stayed in better hotels, but this trip was quite cheap. I could say it was a good value for money. I would recommend it for a cheap holiday.

Octavia Review

The trip to get to the hotel was a challenge from the airport but it grew on me the longer I stayed. The breakfast was fair. The cable had no English channels. The A/C was awful. 18C was warm! The cleaning staff did a great job. The staff were helpful. The train station is very close but it takes time to get into foam - beware. The beds were comfortable. Wi-Fi was spotty.the shower is VERY small!
