Wonderful stay

Really lovely modern, clean and bright room, the breakfast was kept in a cute little basket with plenty of bread, meat, cheese, pastries etc, and re-filled every day. Maria was exceptionally helpful and booked us a very reasonably priced car from the airport and informed us about the area and bus routes! Would definitely recommend! The only small niggle I had is that I was woken up at 3am one night by one of the other guests using the shared kitchen area quite noisily but I imagine thats very unusual.

Amazing B&B

Stayed here for a weekend. It was amazing place. Nice quiet spot close to Vatican City (10-15 minute walk to St. Peters Square). Small terrace outside is perfect for sitting out in evening time.Sylvia and Maria were lovely and very helpful. Would recommend for anyone,

Wonderful Roman Holiday

Maria and her B&B are amazing! I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to visit Rome. Very clean, comfortable and charming rooms. Delicious coffee, tea, cornflakes, croissants and cupcakes which you can eat all day, not only on breakfast- it’s up to you. There are all facilities such as hairdryer or makeup mirror. Me and my boyfriend were very surprised how lovely our stay was.

Maria is an angel sent from heaven!

Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful stay at Maru Shelter in January 2017. We couldn't believe how beautiful the room was as well as the dining area. Maria was so helpful and it felt like she would have been on hand to help out if we needed her. It was a short walk from the Vatican and we would strongly recommend staying here.

Super romantische B&B nabij Vaticaan

Super cute B&B in de buurt van het Vaticaan. We hadden de junior suite, deze had 2 slaapkamers en een badkamer. Alles was heel netjes en romantisch ingericht. Absoluut een aanrader voor een romantisch weekendje weg! De gezamenlijke ruimte (keuken, eetkamer en terras) zijn eveneens heel leuk ingericht. Elke dag verse cake's en een brede variatie aan lekker (gezond) eten en drinken voor je ontbijt. Je voelt je meteen thuis. Maar de grootste pluim gaat naar de gastvrouw Maria, ze is heel lief en behulpzaam. Tijdens ons korte verblijf voelden we ons echt in de watten gelegd. Dit hebben we elders nog nooit eerder meegemaakt.
De B&B ligt een stukje buiten het toeristische stadscentrum, maar met de bus ben je snel bij alle bezienswaardigheden. Het museum van het Vaticaan is lopend bereikbaar. In de directe omgeving van de B&B vindt je veel restaurants, die vooral door locals worden bezocht. We zijn getipt om naar "Goose" te gaan (8 minuutjes lopen). Dit was het dubbel en dik waard! Een heerlijk Italiaans restaurant met als afsluiter een lekkere limoncello.
