Profumo Maison Colosseo - Stay in July
We stayed at the Profumo Maison for two days in July. Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and had everything we wanted!
Room - The room itself was very clean, and the Air Conditioning was very welcome to get out of the hot Rome heat. There was a mini fridge, coffee maker and all of the standard amenities. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom itself was very spacious! My wife and I never felt like we were on top of each other.
Staff - The staff was always friendly and able to help with any of our requests, and they scheduled our shuttle pickup the day we were departing, and helped us with all of our bags with no issue.
Food - The restaurant was directly next door, and the breakfast buffet had everything we wanted to start our day.
Location - This hotel was in a prime location. We were only about a five minute walk from the Coliseum, and there was a metro station only a two minute walk away. On the street we were on, there was plenty of bars and restaurants all within a two to three minute walk, including a convenience store right next door.
Overall, I would recommend this stay to anyone visiting Rome! If we visit Rome again, we will absolutely book this location again!

Amazing location, great staff! Highly recommended. I would definitely stay here again for my next trip to Rome. Wow! Wifi is very on and off though.

Worst Hotel Reservation in my life.
This hotel cancelled my reservation, charged my credit card, and when I showed up to check-in stated they had no available rooms.
This really ruined my vacation to Rome with my two small kids and wife.
I submitted proof that I indeed did not cancel the reservation, but no matter how much proof I submitted, no one wishes to view my data.
In the end the hotel posted my real name on another website. The agency who facilitated this transaction does not care either, they want to keep the transaction, for which I received nothing.
What did I learn? Never ever in my life prepay a hotel or book a hotel that can not be cancelled on the spot due to what ever circumstances.
This really ruined my vacation to Rome with my two small kids and wife.

We feel it is important to provide an accurate account of what took place.
The reservation was cancelled through the platform on which you booked. We did not cancel it, nor did we charge your credit card. We never held your payment details, as the transaction was processed entirely by the booking platform.
On April 20th, four days before your planned arrival, you contacted us to request a refund due to a flight cancellation. Notably, your cancellation on the platform and your refund request to us arrived simultaneously. We responded the same day, explained that the cancellation fell outside the free cancellation window as per the booking terms, and offered a voucher as a goodwill gesture. You declined, as it was not compatible with your plans at the time. We have retained the full correspondence should it be needed.
What we find particularly surprising is that on your check-in date you presented yourself at the hotel as a walk-in guest, despite having informed us days earlier that your flight had been cancelled and you could not travel. When you discovered that the room linked to your cancelled reservation had been legitimately resold, you left stating this information would be useful for your credit card company.
We would also like to note that a previous review containing the same claims was removed by the platform due to false statements. We understand you are trying again.
We are sorry this matter is still occupying your thoughts. We trust the reader will form their own view.

Stunning hotel in an absolutely incredible location. The room sizes were very small, however the location, staff and cleanliness certainly made up for that.
There is a nearby restaurant called Pizza Forum. I cannot recommend this place enough. The pizzas there are the best I have ever had and the gnocchi was incredible. We had need up going there twice due to the food quality.
There is another restaurant nearby called Pasqualino Al Colosseo dal 1956, again I would highly recommend this place.

The property was great. The staff was wonderful and the area is walking distance to everything you need! As a solo female traveller, I was very comfortable and safe.
