Good location, service and rooms

The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Very correct.
Very good location. We had no problems walking everywhere, even the most remote ones, like the Baths of Caracalla.
But the best thing about the hotel is the treatment. Stefano and Arlen make the experience very pleasant.
Would we return to this hotel? Definitely.

Friendly Roma dei papi

I had a very nice stay at Roma dei papi hotel. Spacious and clean room and bathroom but what made the stay special was the people working there. Stefano was super friendly and helpful! The location was perfect, not far from most of the things you want to see in Rome. And a few steps from the shuttle bus going to and from the airport

Lovely stay and personal service

Roma Dei Papi was a breath of fresh air after a long, awful day of travel. We were in a horrible jam as our hotel in Rome-HOTEL BELLI lied and said we cancelled our prepaid room for which we had documentation for thru Agoda and then HOTEL BELLI proceeded to advertise that same room on the internet for 1000 euros. Apparently, this is not an uncommon occurrence so please beware! We were exhausted and upset with no place to go and literally walking the streets of Rome with heavy bags. Thank God for Roma Dei Papi! Stephano, the manager welcomed us in like family and soothed us. The hotel was chic and clean, and he had a cappuccino maker and cold drinks in our hotel room. Even when he was not at the front desk, he was immediately available and helpful via text and helped us through our trip answering questions, arranging a taxi to the airport, etc. The only thing was the room was a bit pricey at around 300 euros but that is also because I am comparing it to Portland, OR USA prices which is not really fair in comparison to a city like in Rome, and again we were literally a last minute booking and desperate. I would stay there again! Roma Dei Papi was by far the best place we stayed in during our trip to Italy from safety, friendliness, cleanliness, etc. The location is great. It felt cozy, clean, secure and we were able to easily walk to restaurants, shops and the Vatican. Highly recommend. Thank you, Stephano!

Great stay

I stayed in this hotel a bit more than a year ago. The location is perfect - just a few minutes by foot from the Vatican.
As a simple hotel I can say the room offers all the basic amenities, mainly if you are gonna stay all day outside. Also comfortable and clean.

Highly recommended

Great position for seeing all Rome has to offer! Very friendly, couldn’t do more to make your stay perfect, breakfast was good, very clean and comfy. Make sure you ask for extra pillows which will be happily provided.
This is a very small hotel, very secure behind electric gates in a beautiful building. It is on the ground floor and has effective air conditioning which is an absolute must in July!
We visited as a family of 8 adults to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have chosen a better base to explore this beautiful city!
