B&B in the center of Rome

Room located practically in the center of Rome, 5 minutes from Castel Sant'Angelo and 10 minutes from the Altar of the Fatherland. The owner friendly and nothing short of helpful, showed us step by step how to access the structure and it was very easy to do it in complete autonomy. Room spotless and spacious, the bathroom had some small lack in the shower, but all in all working order. We had a good time and when we return to Rome we will definitely keep it in mind.

Avoid booking this hotel

They tried to double-charge us, then cancelled us.
We had a reservation for August 2026, fully paid in February, something at the time acknowledged by the hotel. Then a few weeks ago the hotel tried to charge the full amount for a second time and our card was declined, so our reservation was set to be cancelled although we had already paid, months in advance.
The hotel was contacted by both Booking and myself, but never replied to any contact attempts and finally cancelled our reservation. When Booking then tried to contact them for a refund, there was no reply. Thankfully Booking helped us find alternative accomodation, covering the price difference, and returned us the money paid at this hotel.

Steer away from this hotel. We booked and paid room 17. August 2025 to visit Rome in May 2026. A few weeks before our departure we were notified from the hotel that the bank card was not approved - although everything was paid in advance. We contacted booking.com about this and we tried to get in touch with the hotel. The hotel said they had to check, but heard nothing from them. Booking.com also did not receive any response from the property. It ended up with us having to book another room for over twice that amount. After two months, we have received back the money from Booking.com both for what we paid to the hotel and the ones we had to pay extra for other rooms. SweetHouseVittorio has miserable follow-up of its customers.

Be careful!

Be careful!
I booked a room from March for June and they cancelled my reservation a week before I went without refunding me and without answering to emails,messages etc.
Fortunately booking refund me but after a long conversation with them.
