Great location- close to Vatican City and food choices. Room was smaller than expected and with no closet. Staff was helpful and nice. Was a secure location and easy to get in and out.

Wi-Fi didn't work well (evry, very slow) the whole time we were there. They said they contacted someone but it never improved. Other than that, fine.

Avoid this place!! The worst stay ever
Avoid this place!! The worst stay ever for me. I booked a stay at Vatican's roof from 02.03.2025 to 04.03.2025, which included access to a shared kitchen and a terrace. However, the hotel informed me just a night before check-in that they can't accommodate me due to a plumbing issue in the building and offered an alternative accommodation without a kitchen, without a terrace, on the first floor and in the building twice cheaper than I booked.
At the same time, I could see that rooms in Vatican's roof were still available for booking on Booking.com. So I don't get the real reason for moving me to the worst facility of the nine that they have. The company didn't offer me any of them but the worst one and the cheapest. After 3 hours dealing with the host, he gave me a tiny discount. But at the check in another receptionist still demanded an additional payment.
About the room: it's shabby, the coffee machine doesn't work (even after the stuff changed it), the hair dryer is fritted and dirty (after my complaint it was cleaned but not changed), the big body towels weren't changed during my stay and there wasn't enough shampoo (I won't talk about its quality), soap and toilet paper, no air freshener, one of the shower heads is broken.
In addition, there was no staff, so when I told the receptionist vis Whatsapp about the towels, shampoo and other problems, he responded that nobody would come because they are not a hotel, but a guesthouse so they don't provide any 'hotel' services. This is the quote: 'We're sorry but is not an hotel is a guesthouse if you want more service next time book an hotel 5*'.
Also, the talking was disrespectful and even rude. I was even told that if I don't like it I need 'next time to book a hotel 5*'. And they state that they a 3* 'guest house'. In fact, it's not even 1*, more like a punishment place.
At the same time, I could see that rooms in Vatican's roof were still available for booking on Booking.com. BED BUGS IN THE ROOM
BED BUGS IN PROPERTY, don’t stay here ever.
I woke up in the middle of the night with lots of bites(one of those was on eye) and still have marks on my body. Also the stuff are just liers- after assuring me that I will have receive a refund they just stoped replying my messages and ofc no refund is made.

Stay away
This place is nothing like in the pictures.
In pictures it looks nice and clean in reality is old messy and dirty.
Cleaning is bad.we request to have clean towels and they just fold them and put them back.
Toilet seat is broken
No hot water
In the room description it said there is slipper, in reality nowhere to be found.
Blood stains on our sheets, definitely not from us.when we request to change they bring new but still dirty and looks like used.
Common area looks old and dirty with other people underwear hanging out to dry.
Kettle had limescale in it.
In the description is said is sound proof but surely not,we can hear the other neighbours and the cleaning ladys making a break and talk.
Today electricity was down for a good 3 hours.
