A very pleasant discovery
This year the choice of accommodation in which to spend our long-awaited vacation fell on Hotel Aiglon, a purely random choice and not dictated by the suggestion of any loyal customer.
Once you cross the threshold of the hotel, it is impossible not to be struck by the extreme courtesy and the professionalism and constant availability shown indiscriminately towards the clientele. The strong sense of hospitality is also felt by the fact that the property is suitable and accessible even for people with reduced mobility.
The property is modern overall, as is our room which, in addition to enjoying a view of the pool, is equipped with functional furnishings/accessories with beds and pillows that guarantee the perfect position for rest.
Another aspect worthy of appreciation is the cleanliness, which is impeccable, both inside and in the outdoor spaces, and performed in the room with meticulous and daily care by the thoughtful and affectionate Maria Pia. To brighten up every evening, we discover an elaborate and varied program of events/entertainment for adults and children.
A thank you to the entire staff, receptionists, kitchen, dining room, and the engaging and hilarious entertainment team.
The only warning for those who care about their figure: it is impossible to resist the continuous culinary delights

This is not Romagna
Staff: at the reception courteous and helpful, the same cannot be said of the waiters who struggle to say hello and do not know what it means to smile.
The owners were never seen and we had to have them called for three days before we could see their faces.
Rooms: small, comfortable and clean, but with old mattresses where you can feel the springs, towels that are changed every two days that are old and worn out.
Bathroom: there are no shelves even in the shower, making it impossible to store personal items.
But the real sore point is the food.
At breakfast, the dessert buffet is made up of various cakes, all baked with the same very sweet and tasteless dough, with the only difference being the decoration cream; often hard and dry dough that seems like leftovers from previous days, even the puff pastry products are dry, similar to pre-cooked ones.
It is truly sad to have to use plastic cups and spoons.
As for lunch and dinner, after having eaten there for two days and not having digested it, we preferred to find a solution outside.
The cook might be able to cook, but they should be given the means to do so with higher quality products, instead of having to use cream, oregano, and other ingredients to cover up the taste of the dishes.
The eyes want their share too, and here you are certainly not encouraged to eat.
Not recommended to stay at this hotel.

Disappointing
I stayed at this hotel for a week with my daughter and my son-in-law.
I found the staff courteous and the rooms clean, but the towels were old and worn out, and I had trouble showering because, besides there being no shelves, there was no support and I was afraid of slipping.
Exasperating elevator trips, going up and down between floors without ever reaching the destination.
Restaurant dining room with freezing cold air conditioning. Three of us ate at a small table when, having booked two rooms, we expected two tables.
But I was very disappointed at the restaurant where the food left a bit to be desired, not in quantity but in quality (I have eaten better abroad): the bread seemed pre-cooked because it was hard and inedible, the dishes presented did not seem fresh to me, especially the fish, which, however it was cooked, the only taste you could feel was that of oregano, which is not digestible for everyone. Let's forget about the much-renowned dessert buffet, which at lunch is lemon sorbet and ice cream, and at dinner, the cakes probably left over from the day before are re-offered.
