A Golden House in Name and Deed
Located in an ancient renovated building in the historic center and with the possibility of private parking, the Domus Area is very close to all the main monuments of Saluzzo, within walking distance. Its rooms are spacious with an equally spacious bathroom kept to perfection. Comfortable central room where breakfast is served well assorted. Very courteous and available for advice on where to go and how to move the owners deserve the compliments that are read in comment of the stays in the structure.

Visit to the Cathedral of Saluzzo
We were in Saluzzo with my wife and we found hospitality in the B & B Domus Aurea; we can only give a more than positive opinion for the rooms, service and location. Warm welcome from Alberto and Patrizia, the owners and delicious breakfast prepared by them. We will definitely return. Good stay in the structure at all.

Charming, well-appointed b&b
I loved staying at Domus Aurea. The rooms are beautiful, the bed was very comfy, and the location in the old city is fantastic—close to fabulous restaurants like 4 Stagioni and especially the amazing Taverna dei Porti Scuri. Highly recommend this b&b!

Domus Aurea is perfectly located within walking distance of all the town's attractions, shops, restaurants, supermarkets and main bus stop for buses in and out of Saluzzo. I had to use location services on phone to locate the B&B in first instance as it's location is not immediately obvious. A warm welcome on arrival which remained throughout my 3 night stay. Patrizia speaks a small amount of the English language for which I was very grateful given my Italian is extremely limited! The small B&B consists of 3 rooms and a small, well decorated common area for relaxing and where breakfast is served. There is also a fridge in common area where you can store small amounts of food if required. The best feature of this B&B is the room-they are well equipped (inclusive of kettle), quiet, warm, clean, have pleasant décor, access of a mini bar and the bed is the most comfortable I have experienced since arriving in Italy. My only concern as a working traveller (rather than on vacation) was my early starts during the day; I worried I may disturb other holidaying guests. Note: I was advised by my colleagues that B&B accommodation was best option in Saluzzo as the hotel is, to use their words, 'tired'. Thanks to Patrizia for her great hospitality; I really enjoyed my stay; this B&B comes highly recommended based on my experience.

tasteful, friendly, home-made marmelade&bread: delicious
at least 3 members of the family run the b&b, are very helpful and friendly.
The breakfast, they served, was one of the best we ever got in Italy: everything was really fresh, some was home made: one type of bread (there were several), marmelade of fig and of apricot. Few readily mixed cereal, but enough pure stuff, even manifold fruit and yoghurt, so I could mix to my own fancy.
Of course good coffee, milk cold or hot, juices, etc.
One big table in the dining room, cosy to sit at.
They even offered us parking for our car.
That's very helpful, because parking fee is high in the center of Saluzzo.
And, although in the center, with bars and restaurants nearby: we slept profoundly, we enjoyed, how quiet it was.
In october there was no need to heat or to cool the rooms, so I did not care too much, but of course there is firing, and the house seems to be an old small 'palazzo' with thick walls, so in the summer the rooms will stay cool.
