A modern, clean B&B with a fantastic view

New structure, located in the upper part of Scalea, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view. It is easily reached and with a few minutes drive from there you get to the seafront and the city center. The room is very comfortable, cozy and technological. The cleaning very accurate. Each room has a dedicated table in the belvedere terrace, for breakfast or evening drinks overlooking the sea. Professional courtesy and discretion on the part of the manager and his assistant.

beautiful, mountainous part of Italy

Friendly lady (staff) picked us up from the station, showed us round the B+B and served us breakfast. Her English is much better than my Italian, but don't expect complex questions to be understood. Between Tropea and Amalfi/Naples you ideally need simple Italian phrases and experience, like "the bill please" and "to eat in/take away". It's a lovely, modern building with nice decor. It's quiet (not much traffic on the road). The view from the breakfast terrace is over the town to the sea and the mountains. The walk to the centre is about 10-15 mins and the traffic isn't too hectic like in other towns. The old town is amazing, it has never been done up for the tourists and there's no traffic and there's a restaurant/bar at the top. Do take the 15 min train trip to Praia a Mare, an idyllic, stunning place, one of the nicest beaches I've ever visited; the beach is 10 mins walk from the station but the main bit by Dino Island is about 80 mins scenic walk along the promenade. In Sept this was the only bit serving food and doing boat trips.
Of 9 B+Bs which I've visited in Itlay, this easily had the hardest bed. Maybe I should say firmest. I prefer a soft, supportive bed; but I did manage to sleep ok as it's a good quality mattress.

Nice experience, I am satisfied

We booked few hours before, on the way to Scalea with my mobile phone. We found a very nice place, clean and welcoming. The b&b is well located for the city center but a bit less comfortable to the seaside: not a big deal we actually walk there (20 mins). You nigh take the car, it takes 5 mins. Overall a very good experience.

Relax relax e ancora relax

Io e il mio compagno abbiamo alloggiato in questo B & B 3 notti a luglio.
L’accoglienza da parte del proprietario e della sua famiglia è stata eccezionale! Ci siamo sentiti fin dal primo momento completamente a nostro agio.
Stanze pulitissime, tecnologiche, ricche di ogni confort e curate nei dettagli. Per non parlare della terrazza panoramica: un luogo magico dove leggere un libro e rilassarsi guardando il tramonto, dove poter assaporare una deliziosa e curata colazione.
Posizione comodissima per poter visitare diverse spiagge e i posti di interesse in zona.

Accoglienza e professionalità

Proprietari accoglienti, molto comunicativi e pazienti. Tutto curato nei dettagli, davvero tutto splendido. Meglio non potevo trovare. Camere con tutti comfort tecnologici: Alexa, Netflix, Amazon prime.....davvero tutto. Un ringraziamento ai titolari per tutto
