A few minutes from Florence

Beautiful property in the historic center of Sesto Fiorentino, opposite the church of Colonnata, pleasant bells in the morning and not annoying! Located in quiet area with easy parking. Perfect room and services. Great breakfast, with delicious all homemade. Florence is very close and well connected by public transport and rail. We had already been there and will be back!

I have never seen anything like this.

I have never had an experience like this before. We found ourselves being assigned two attic rooms where it was impossible to stand up even by mistake, at the modest price of $90 per room (which later became $80). Oh, you cannot pay by card; they do not have the capability. With the unbearable heat, the inability to move, and seven mosquitoes to exterminate, the night passed sleepless and filled with discontent. One of the guests is 1.80 meters tall and could not stand up even in the shower. It is truly madness; I have never encountered anything like this before. But don't you feel even a little ashamed?

Disappointing

Definitely negative experience. The room was an attic with a roof and very low doors: to move you had to be folded continuously. The bathroom was tiny and practically unusable: there was no standing in the shower and my husband (1.84 m high) had to get his head between the beams to be able to wash. In addition, the bathroom was old and poorly maintained, with broken sockets and the sink leaking water.
The double bed was very uncomfortable and one of the single beds was simply a mattress resting on a wall, really inadequate solution.
Repetitive breakfast: every day the same three cakes and some yogurt from the supermarket.
I think it is essential to properly inform guests about the real condition of the structure, instead of just thinking about the profit.
The only positive note: the lady who prepared cappuccino in the morning was very kind.

Two days in Sesto Fiorentino

The pleasure of a refined environment, the beauty of the Florentine tradition.
Feel immediately at ease thanks to the kindness and hospitality of Mrs. Mara and the smiling and spontaneous faces of the girls who help her in the management of this beautiful house. The delicious and fresh cakes that welcome for breakfast every morning crown the stay at this B&B, located in the upper area of Sesto Fiorentino, where Olive trees are present along streets and gardens. Strategic position to reach the center of Sesto and to take, possibly, the train to the center of Florence, reachable in a few minutes.

TAKES AWAY IS TO SAY LITTLE

Let me start by saying that I thought about whether to write a review or not.
I stayed 1 night (luckily) in this b and b in a room that was perhaps suitable for the seven dwarfs in Snow White as I had to walk with my back bent over and I'm not 2 meters tall!
Bathroom outside the room which I knew I had but for the wonderful price of 70 euros for that room it seems really excessive to me.
2-storey structure with 4 rooms per floor, I decide to take a tour and discover that I am alone in the entire structure so I call the owner and explain that there was a non-working socket, it was cold in the room, the drain was not working and the shower that sprayed that little water everywhere asking at this point why the price for that room, the ugliest ever (underlining that I am a student and that not even in Florence have I seen prices similar to those conditions). I expected him to at least change my room but nothing, a paltry 5 euro discount! I get down to 60 deciding I don't want to have breakfast.
The next day I go down to go out and the lady in charge of breakfast (not the owner) lets me sit anyway, saying that I could have breakfast anyway.
I told the latter that I would leave the room at 11.30 am (it was raining and I had the exam at 2 pm) as agreed with the owner the evening before on the phone.
The breakfast lady replies saying that they had to clean the room because "you know there is a constant recirculation of people here"..., I have her call the owner and they decide to let me stay in the living room on a sofa as long as I wanted, they were the 10 am. Obviously I accept and start reviewing waiting for 11.30/45 am.
I decided to write this review because at that time no one had yet arrived to clean the room, in all of this I really felt cheated so next time I'll travel 30 minutes more but certainly without these inconveniences, taken into account crazy ride and prices!
