Stunning and huge luxurious room! Staff was lovely and so helpful. Perfect central location! Exceptional spa staff that did a custom massage on two different days for my hurt back. Walkable to central station and great bar at Harry’s.

The best hotel in Trieste by far

We only stayed one night as we were on our way to Croatia. Right location on the main square of Trieste - plenty of parking and you can walk to everything. The rooms are fantastic - vast bathroom and nice bar as well. We got two welcome drinks - whatever from the cocktail menu. The breakfast was a real treat with a lot of fresh local variety of meats, cheeses, breads, cereals and yogurts and lots of cake and pies. Good price for the value and we felt truly welcome. A real gem!

Great location, some things disappointing

What was an extremely negative aspect is the situation of the beautiful hotel bar and its terrace on the famous Unity Square.
The service staff at the hotel bar, especially in the evening, is unfriendly and dismissive. We were informed as guests that - allegedly - it closes at 10:00 PM and therefore nothing can be served. This does not correspond to the information in the hotel, namely that it is open until 12:00 AM. Upon specific inquiry, it was then stated that it is open until 12:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. However, during visits on Friday and Saturday, we guests were also told early in the evening that it was closed. Only after an emphatic reminder that the information in the hotel is different were we served reluctantly. A waiter even pointed out to us that he was tired and therefore did not really want to work anymore. Unbearable for a luxury hotel of this kind. Obviously, the hotel management does not seem to be able to manage the service staff accordingly here. This situation is all the more regrettable as the location of the hotel and the hotel terrace is beautiful.
As a guest, especially as a hotel guest, you are given the feeling of being unwelcome. Very regrettable

Super class on best location and exceptional staff

Perfect location in the beautiful main square in front of the harbor, extraordinary professional and friendly staff, plus super old world class place make this place get a 5. However, food quality in restaurant not in line with the category of the hotel, except breakfast which is good. Outdoor terrace is outstanding.

The best place to stay in Trieste!

Stay here! The hotel is beautiful and in the most perfect location overlooking the main piazza of Trieste, which is especially gorgeous at night. Sitting at the hotel bar on the piazza at dusk is a treat. The rooms are lovely and large, and the staff is superb. The parking situation was excellent, and the car was always brought to the hotel at the exact time requested. Cannot say enough good things about this hotel and its service. Top notch!
