Terrible hotel, terrible experience. Not a 4-star.

Arrived at the hotel at h. At 16, I immediately noticed the air conditioning was not working. I was told that the problem would be resolved shortly. In the room, there was an unbearable temperature above 30 degrees.
It was June 23, and it was very hot in Udine, and there was no possibility of sleeping in such a hot room. We returned to the room at midnight, and the problem persisted. I asked to change rooms, but room 201 had the same problem since the system was centralized. The night porter was understanding and tried to find a solution but did not succeed. I spent the night awake, even with the window open, and in the morning, I went down to speak with the staff, who immediately showed themselves to be very grumpy and unwilling to discuss the problem, denying that there was a malfunction issue. I asked to speak with the hotel manager because I demanded a discount on the agreed price of €80 from the night porter the evening before (the email was not needed, I was told). I was asked for €120 and denied any possibility of speaking with a manager. In the end, I paid the €80 and left furious about the treatment received and the expense incurred for a 4-star hotel (on paper) that is actually a 3-star if one wants to be generous. Terrible experience, terrible room, terrible service, and terrible staff overall. Goodbye forever. Beware!!

Dilapidated

Terrible... A shabby hotel, poorly organized, and for every event, they triple the cost... Never again.

Dilapidated structure, little staff, and in one case, not very polite.

Two-night stay with a tour group.

Absolutely to be avoided; I cannot understand how it is rated four stars, with poor food and service, neglected common areas, and inadequate staff. Some rooms in the group I belonged to suffered from a lack of light for several hours in the evening, forgettable food; it is unfortunate, but that is the reality.
