A Paradise. Highly recommended.
Our experience at the Masseria was excellent.
The place is a dream... I recommend it to everyone, but especially to those who have children.
You are immersed in greenery, there is a pool, everything you need to feel divine.
The hosts were nice and very kind.
Definitely a place to return to!!

Beautiful country estate in a great location by the sea with a swimming pool :)
Our stay at the Masseria was outstanding!! Beautiful old country estate with tastefully furnished and top-equipped apartments. Ours had a pretty terrace with a small garden, wonderfully quiet and idyllic. The large and well-maintained swimming pool is a big plus. The hosts Matteo and his father were extremely helpful and accommodating and helped immediately with questions and problems. All in all a wonderful 4-day stay!!! :)

Miss a little Amore and best at the price!
La Massaria enjoys a beautiful location and has a lovely swimming pool. Keep in mind that it is right next to Aqualand del Vasto, where they play rock-hard music all day long. On the pictures, however, it all looked a bit nicer than in reality.
The apartment was somewhat outdated and had some overdue maintenance here and there. We lacked a bit of love and attention to the finish. For example, the water in the sink did not drain properly, the shower head did not stay in the holder and the curtains for the kitchen cabinets kept falling loose. The garden furniture also needed replacing: holes in the chair...
The kitchen inventory was also very meagre. There were no coffee cups, wine glasses, a wine opener or a pasta scoop. After we passed this on to the owner, he happily immediately came to bring coffee cups and a wine opener. We certainly appreciate that.
A plus is that there are several supermarkets just a few minutes drive away, which is very convenient.
Nearby is Fontefico winery. Keep in mind that the prices there are quite high; the cheapest bottle of wine starts at €18.
An absolute must is Pizza Amore. There we ate delicious pizzas for a great price. For four pizzas, two large glasses of beer and two Cokes we paid only €44.
All in all we had a wonderful holiday at La Massaria. For us, six nights were just right. For families with adolescents aged 14 and 16, there is not much to do in the immediate vicinity, but if you are looking for peace, a nice pool and a good base to explore the area, it is definitely a great place.

Terrible Experience from Start to Finish — Avoid This Place!
I rarely write reviews, but our stay here was such a nightmare I have to warn others. From the moment we arrived, communication was abysmal. We weren’t informed about a planned power outage that lasted an entire day — yes, a whole day without electricity! Imagine the inconvenience, especially without any prior notice.
The accommodation was shockingly unprepared: we had to make our own beds because nothing was set up for us, and there weren’t even enough sheets or towels il after complaining on our first day, they finally sent a technician, the day we were checking out Ll lq saw s for “setting it wrong”. The whole situation was handled with incompetence and a total lack of respect.
If you value your comfort and sanity, do yourself a favor and book anywhere else. This place is a disaster from start to finish.

terrible, overpriced hostel
From start to finish this experience was unpleasant.
The Manager Matteo was very rude, abrupt and arrogant blaming us for their
disorganisation. We gave them our numbers and then when we got here they
claimed we were missing information and charged us an extra 30euro for more
sheets and towels
We had to put the sheet on the bed ourselves and were expected to us the one
towel for the entire duration of our stay which was 6 days. So not sure what
a 15euro linen charge includes if im making my own bed and washing my own
towels.
The Airconditioning did not work, the systems had no gas and were pumping
out room temperature air and when we advised them of the issue they blamed
us, on the last day they sent a technician out but too little too late.
We had a full day of no power - all our groceries in the fridge went bad
that we had just purchased because it was a planned maintenance in the area
and we were not advised of this.
The beds are hard as a rock, the couches are broken and uncomfortable, the
rooms were not stocked with basic amenities or grocery items like salt. no
kettle, no toaster. only a stove with a pan and coffee machine.
Some rooms had cutlery and utensils and others not.
If i could give zero stars i would, the only saving grace was the washing
machine in the tiny little cupboard under the stairs so that i could wash
the towels.
pricing should be adjusted to reflect the service or lack thereof. i
could've stayed at a hostel for much less and gotten the same amount of
service.
