Week end sull'adriatico in questa gradevole villa ristrutturata recentemente. Colazione abbondante, proprietaria gentilissima, camere confortevoli e vista eccezionale. Dal terrazzino si dominano chilometri di riviera, emozionante!

If you want to spoil your holiday, go to Villa Casarza

After a very strenuous year of work, we set off for Villa Casarza in a 12-hour car journey. We had an impersonal reception, where we had to wait forever for the landlord after the long journey, two of the three of us were stung as soon as we entered by wasps who had their nest by the entrance, which the landlord didn't even notice or wanted to notice. And despite being told, he never destroyed the nest. The owners' grandchildren's dogs, who lived in the kennel at the back, barked all night long. We never saw these people, the landlords also lived somewhere. The apartment was dirty, moldy, the entrance door was an old 80s shop glass door, totally unsafe, only locked from the outside, one bedroom on the south side could not be darkened (huge glass front, see photo), the breakfast was a disgrace, a few Lidl croissants, if the guests before you were hungrier, there was hardly anything left for you. We were not asked for our passports at reception, well, we thought, then at breakfast the next day, but the woman there, who only spoke Italian and who stared at you without embarrassment while you were eating, fobbed us off. In plain English, we were neither registered as tourists, nor was our money (after all, that would have been 1800 euros for 14 days) taxed. So if someone had "stolen" us, we would have been able to be found the last time we left home. In addition, the main road, next to which the "villa" is located on a hill, is extremely loud. The "beach" 200m away is a small bathing bay that can only be reached via a very steep climb and is not a beach in the sense that tourists think it is! Incorrect description! The large beaches of Vasto are in a completely different place! The center is also NOT accessible on foot as it says, but must be reached by car via ascending serpentine roads - with a lack of parking spaces (Vasto is on a hill above the sea and the "villa" is right in between.)
