We won't.

The hotel is very well located. The staff is friendly, giving helpful advice. The room is not very clean, or rather not. Breakfast is very modest. Perhaps the hotel presents itself as affordable, but the price level of our room (with private bathroom) allows you to choose from many in Venice. Plus the bed was broken and it's noticeable. We won't.

5 Stars! We loved our stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Art Dreams Venezia! The host and owner, Viola, was very kind and helpful and even assisted us in making a dinner reservation at her favorite restaurant in the area, which we enjoyed very much! The rooms are beautiful and well-appointed, and the breakfast is fantastic and plentiful. We would 100% stay here again and recommend it to other travelers. It's in a great area with lots of food choices, shopping, and just a short walk to St. Mark's Square.

close to stations, but quiet

coming from the bus roundabout you have two bridges to go, from the train station, one smaller one. If you have luggage of any size this proximity is appreciated. Near the start of the inland road that parallels the grand canal, Leonardo is busy. So, much to our surprise, entering through sets of doors, all the hussle and noise is left outside. Same with in the room, the double windows sealed out all the noise but the bells, which was fine. You need to know what you are looking for on your first visit (see attached photo) as there is no Marquis banner, but the beautiful facade stands out with the entrance immediately beside a restaurant. We left the windows open for a while and were visited by a couple of mosquitos, but they weren't a problem. We had the washroom shared (with just one other) but that too was not an issue. The room was comfy and the wifi was good. The reception and kitchen staff were personable, helpful and smiling. Your closest vaporetto stop is Marcuola., nearby, marked well on the main street, with a mini-maze to get you there. easy to miss on this path (at one of the first lane corners to get there) is an ideal little bistro, behind a brick wall.
And you might want to bring your wellies, because once in order to reach the vaporetto waiting room, i had to wade through water over the plank that went up past my ankles.
We were happy to have art dreams kick off our holiday and yes there is art throughout.

Worst Customer Service

Directions were horrible. Had to walk 20 minutes with luggage over bridges to get there. Check in was fine, but all the electricity went off about 10 pm at night. There was no manager on duty to help us. Finally called number at front desk. Manager said she was sleeping and didn't want to come to help. She finally came to help after an HOUR. She fixed the electricity, but the AC never worked.

Had plans to visit Italy and covid struck. Did not get to go.

Now I called in October to tell them I can't even fly there. They still charged my credit card and finally got ahold of a lady who told me to wait a week to get my money back. STILL WAITING!!! No money. Plus if they know there is a pandemic how dare they charge???? This is fraud. I am very upset. I was thinking of coming when the virus is all over but now forget it. I want my $200.00 back ASAP! I am really furious.
