Wonderful Experience

Fabulous, it is located in the pedestrian area off Granviale Santa Maria Elisabetta, and only 50 meters from the main boat station. Breakfast is served under cover outside and you can help yourself to cereal, toast, jams, fresh fruit tea & coffee. In the fridge there is a plate of ham, cheese, tomatoes & mozzarella labelled with your room number. The owners Alessandro and Laura are lovely and helpful. They offer the use of bikes to get around the island. Our room was spacious, clean with a comfortable bed. I would definitely stay here again and it's much more quiet and laid back than staying in Venice (Cheaper too!). The boats run regularly to all the islands. We bought a three day ticket and used it like a hop on & hop off bus ticket, saved a fortune & travelled a lot.

Perfect place to visit Venezia and its islands

Beautyfull house to stay to visit Venezia and the islands around. Very tasty breakfast (ham, cheese, tomatoes, mozzarella, fruit salad, toasts, croissant…), spacious and cleaned room with balcony on garden side, big bed, very calm, very good welcome and service. They give bicycles to visit Lido. Near vaporetto. Excellent.

Excellent place to visit Venezia

Excellent place. Very good room (spacious, all the conveniences), very good breakfast (adapt to your taste : fruit salad, mozzarella, tomatoes, ham, cheese, toasts, viennoiseries…), very good welcoming and service. Good location. Perfect.

A home away from home - not a cliche.

Lido is one of these places where you wish you were a local for a few days; staying in a house in the centre, minutes away from vaporetto, the beach and the afternoon aperol, with a lush garden, in a tastefully decorated, cool, peaceful and perfectly clean room, with friendly, non-intrusive hosts with a freshly made cappuccino and freshly made caprese in the morning.... gives you just that feeling. Couldn't have wished for a better place in Lido. Would go back any time.. preferably soon. :)

Such a Fantastic place

Fantastic place to stay. The welcome could not have been better, and the Lido is so nice. Great advice on how to get around and where to eat. Lovely place to relax after the crowds in Venice. Owners were also kind enough to let us borrow a phone charger, when ours didn't work, and bikes to have a look around the Lido.
