Sleeping is impossible!!!
Nevertheless, we must strongly advise against staying at this accommodation. We had booked two rooms, and in both, there was an old and very poorly maintained air conditioning unit. The units constantly made very loud noises and emitted a musty smell. Additionally, the air outlet louvers were heavily dusted, indicating that the filters are not cleaned regularly.
A restful sleep was out of the question. Additionally, the air conditioning in one of the rooms did not cool at all. Given the price paid for the accommodation, this condition is absolutely unacceptable.
We reported the deficiencies both in writing and by phone. The staff was already aware of the problem; however, nothing was done to resolve it. On the second day, a fan was placed in front of our door. While that was a nice gesture, it was completely inadequate given the high temperatures. Furthermore, a fan certainly does not eliminate the musty smell.
