Lovely place right in the heart of Venice
Good air con, much needed at this time of year. Very comfortable nights sleep in comfy beds. Nice to have a little living room area and the terrace was lovely to sit at outside.
Our 16 year old son had a nasty nose bleed in the night and I messaged the owner to apologise and to offer to pay for replacement linen and pillow but as yet not been requested to pay, which is very kind of them.
Good value for money right in the centre of everything.

Reservation confirmed and paid, but the structure was closed upon arrival
On the day of arrival, at the scheduled check-in time of 2:30 PM, we arrived at the property only to find it closed. After contacting the host by phone, we were informed that the property had an electrical issue and was not usable.
What surprised us the most was the fact that no one had taken the initiative to inform us before our arrival, leaving us without accommodation and forcing us to look for an alternative solution at the last minute.
We found ourselves without lodging on the afternoon of May 1st, spending hours on the phone with the agency through which we had made the reservation. Only around 7:00 PM, after more than four and a half hours of waiting and numerous contacts with customer service, an alternative accommodation was found for us, albeit in a completely different area than the one we had chosen.
We had booked this property specifically because it was close to the Mestre train station, a strategic location for our travels. The alternative accommodation forced us to change our plans for the stay, resulting in additional expenses, inconveniences, and a significant loss of time.
I understand that unforeseen technical problems can occur, but I find it unacceptable that guests are not informed promptly and are left to deal with a situation like this on their own.
Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot express a positive judgment on the management of the reservation and guest assistance.
