Ugodni obiteljski hotel Al Piave nalazi se na vrlo središnjoj lokaciji, samo 5 minuta hoda od Trga sv. Marka i u blizini stanice vodenog autobusa San Zaccaria. Nudi lijepo uređene sobe s vlastitom kupaonicom.

Absolutely recommended!
I researched online for a long time to see which hotel in Venice would probably be best for us, 2 adults and 3 children. The selection of family rooms for 5 people is limited; also, the location, quality, and price are naturally important. Hotel Al Piave met all our expectations, or rather, exceeded them! The location is perfect; so central; such good restaurants in the immediate vicinity; only a few minutes' walk from the most important sights. The service - excellent! Very friendly staff. Upon entering the hotel, you feel so comfortable; it is elegant and pleasantly quiet. Our family room consisted of 2 rooms, which are located in their own private area. That worked out very well. The rooms are very high-quality; here too - we felt comfortable immediately. The breakfast area also has a pleasant ambiance; the breakfast itself consists of a buffet; which is not huge - but where you lack nothing. The price is reasonable in my opinion; you are of course always happy if it can be cheaper; but the price-performance ratio is definitely right. For us it is clear - if we stay in Venice again, then most certainly at the Hotel Al Piave. We would love to come back!

Overall good stay despite power outage
The hotel is in a wonderful location, extremely clean, and the staff are quite wonderful and helpful. The breakfast was also quite good. The reason for the lower score is that we were told at check-in that the next day, there would be no power from 8:30-4:30. The staff apologized and said that the power was going to be taken down for that area of the city. However, this was during a heat wave and meant that we couldn't rest at the hotel in the middle of the day. We were also jet-lagged after a long flight and had planned to sleep in a bit that morning and that was no longer possible. Breakfast was also only going to be available earlier because of this. Also, we weren't told that water would also be shut down. So, at 8:10, while jet-lagged and scrambling to get ready, the water stopped working on us. Again, staff was very kind and tried to help - but it meant they couldn't make coffee any longer, etc., we didn't have water to finish brushing our teeth, and so on. The hotel gave us a $50 discount per room and said the situation had been out of their control. However, they could have alerted us before check-in and we could have decided to stay elsewhere. Also, if it had been a bigger chain, I am sure they would have given us at least 50% off the room price, if not more. Again, the hotel was beautiful, clean and the people were very kind, but when things go wrong, other hotels do more to make it up to you.

Friendly service but….
The people are nice and polite, but the beds uncomfortable, noises through the night including loud banging. The breakfast is simply awful, although good service. Some of the worst Italian food ever tasted. Eggs seem cooked many times. I had to fix shower head to stay up with dental floss. Good location. Lots of cigarette smoke on the surrounding streets.

Wonderful stay
We had a lovely stay. The breakfast was delicious and the room was beautiful. The staff were friendly and the location was excellent. We will definitely stay again when we come back to Venice.

not all that it makes out to be
We booked this hotel on the understanding of it being Coeliac accredited and the website shows racks of lovely products when in reality you a basket of bagged items no toast bread and a microwaved croissant and a very rubber muffin when just a 5 minute walk gets to a fully stocked Gluten free COOP with fresh bread and other products. The hotel it's is in a good location for the sites of Venice and while the rooms are ok the court yard turned not to as quite or restfully as again the website leads to belive with a couple of tables and 3 very uncomfortable metal wooden slatted chair so bring a cushion if you are going sit there for any length of time. The whole place is very Italian in many ways very relaxed and from a time gone by but this may just be me and lots of other guests seem to like it but then it was a last mintue break for us
