A Perfect Solo Stay at Hotel Rigel – Outstanding Service and Comfort

Traveling solo can sometimes be daunting, but my stay at Hotel Rigel completely put my mind at ease. From the moment I arrived, I felt thoroughly looked after, secure, and genuinely welcomed.
​The rooms are fantastic—spacious, peaceful, and spotlessly clean. As a solo traveler carrying personal electronics and travel documents, having a completely reliable, easy-to-use in-room safe provided massive peace of mind whenever I ventured out for the day.
​What truly elevates Hotel Rigel, however, is its extraordinary team:
​Guglielmo Serafini is an amazing business owner whose passion and high standards are clearly reflected in every corner of the property.
​Andrea, the director, provides amazing support behind the scenes, ensuring the entire operation runs seamlessly.
​Stefano, the general manager, leads with warmth and professionalism, making sure every guest feels valued.
​Selina, the supervisor, keeps everything organized with incredible efficiency and a friendly presence.
​Vitaly deserves special recognition for his exceptional room maintenance and upkeep; everything in the room functioned flawlessly and was kept in pristine condition.
​Marco, Zancanello, and Alessandro round out an exceptional team, each bringing top-tier hospitality and helpfulness to daily interactions.
​If you are looking for a secure, comfortable, and hospitable base where the staff genuinely care about your experience, I cannot recommend Hotel Rigel enough. I look forward to returning!

A big thank you to all the staff at Hotel Rigel. It was nice to see you all again!
I have stayed at the Rigel many times over the years and enjoyed seeing the improvements and investment made in that time ( Modern keycards, Upgraded Wi-Fi and improved layout at breakfast to name a few ).
The hotel retains its charm and high standards every time.
A lovely hotel made great by the wonderful people that work there.

​My recent stay at Hotel Rigel was absolutely phenomenal. While the property itself is wonderful and perfectly situated, it is the extraordinary staff who truly elevate the experience into something unforgettable.
​From the moment I arrived, I was treated with unparalleled warmth and professionalism. A massive thank you to the incredible team: Selina, Racquela, Zancanello, Marco, and Stefano. Each of them went above and beyond to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect. Whether they were offering fantastic local recommendations, anticipating my needs with a genuine smile, or simply bringing fantastic energy to the hotel's atmosphere, they made me feel completely at home.

Staff are great (even the grumpy one!). Yes, it's dated and probably a lightbulb will need changing or the batteries in the remote don't work, but rooms are spotless, reception was there even when I arrived near midnight, the location is brilliant close enough to the vaporetto and all the restaurants etc but on a very pretty, quiet street.
Breakfast is very good - great cake! - and can be eaten in or outside on the terrace - though I don't love the coffee machine.
Tip: single travellers, do yourselves a favour and book a double room.

Situated in a Quiet residential area , close to restaurants , vaporetta and shops . Small outside seating area but bar appeared to be closed . Room dated but otherwise as expected
