Suffocating clumsy place
Its very clumsy. Checkin was horrible. We are family of four have booked junior suite. The AC not working and on repeated requests, the manager says the technical guy is coming but no one available.
Request to everyone never never to book thia place.
Total waste of money and don’t know how to spend the night in such a suffocating room. Open the window and a noisy street is below to keep you waking.
Horrible experience.

Avoid like the plague bed bugs galore
Avoid this hotel like the plague. This hotel is filthy disgusting and we had to flee in the middle of the night. The hotel is full of bedbugs and my myself and my daughter eaten alive with bedbugs bite. I am also convinced that there is a camera in the room. There is a perfect hole above the wardrobe where there is absolutely no reason for it to be there. The whole hotel is disgusting and filthy. I contacted the manager I have videos and he screamed at me. No videoing he has since stopped, taking calls, not reply to emails he has blocked me.

Cute, he's in for a night!
Given the reviews on booking and various platforms we were really worried.
Arriving at the scene, ringing on the intercom they opened us and made us leave our luggage.
Two-story suite room clean and without bedbugs or similar animals. Air conditioning present + mini fan.
Maybe we should improve something like: locked luggage storage, room entrance doors and not to be improved.
But overall for one night we enjoyed it.

We were not impressed upon arrival so we didnt stay.
On the photos hotel looks like a true venician style accomodation. We had little trouble finding place since the entrance is just a door on the street without much visible sign. We buzz the doorbell and when explained we came early to drop the bags we were let in. We walked up the stairs, quiet narrow all covered with old and scrafy carpet even on the walls. We bumped into cleaner cleaning the room so we had a sneaky look and we were not happy what we saw. Cheap looking room, very old and dated, the whole hotel looked very dark and kinda scary. We left our bags at “the reception area” and quickly went for a lunch where we booked ourselves new accomodation for the night. Especially seeing reviews that there are bed bugs we didnt wanna take any risk. Luckily we only had this hotel booked for 1 night so we didnt lose huge amount of money but yeah. Still annoying.

Horror!!!Bed bugs!!!
We (married couple, 47&66 years) were in Venice from 28.06. - 01.07.24.
A very spontaneous decision.So we quickly searched for accommodation and found it at Booking.com. Got a junior suite over two levels with small balcony.SuperSo far so good. Arrive Friday afternoon.Reception quite friendly, get room keys and unpack first.The first night was ok, have fallen to bed dead tired.
The horror began on the second night.After I wanted to read something in bed, I lay down in the lower bed and after a short time noticed a crawling...thought,oh are quite a lot of mosquitoes here....I got up and closed the tilted window first and rearranged the bedding.That's when the big crawling started....little black bugs everywhere in bed. And blood stains....sleep was unthinkable.At night another message was written to the mobile phone number of the hotel and photos and videos attached.No reaction.Not until the late afternoon of the next day.Here is the text of the reply WhatsApp :
Yes pls for sure we are really deeply sorry , we had already did form
Our side all the disinfectant we have all the certificate of that , so don’t worry we are legally in order to cause venice authorities know very well cause we had submitted the certificate! And please note that in any way we did our best to move you the hotel immediately when we knew the problem, so I thinks you should appreciate what we did , ofcourse no body want to create any kind of problems with insects but when it’s happened it’s important to give you 2 double rooms one of with private terrace which you need to appreciate!

The end of the song was that on the third day (our departure day anyway), we left early in the morning at 6am.
Get compensation of 90 € via Booking com....a joke!
But what upsets us even more is that this suite and other rooms continue to be rented out, despite horror reviews on the Internet. Even shortly after us, guests felt the same way!
Take a look at Booking.com, Google the reviews and photos...Unfortunately we have not read them before....and let ourselves be dazzled by the great location.Because even if that was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in,the city of Venice is beautiful.Just a pity that such black sheep,many can really ruin the holiday.
