Amazing room

Amazing room, spacious and clean. It is fairly close to the city center, like 20ish minutes walking.

To be avoided

Horrible location in a residential neighborhood surrounded by buildings. If you are at the pool or having breakfast, you feel exposed. Fairly large and comfortable room. Hearty breakfast but poor quality and you feel like you are in a cafeteria. Bathroom looks very nice at first glance, but once inside, the shower handle doesn't hold, the bathtub is poorly fixed, and the electrical cover falls off. Nonexistent exterior decoration, no effort. Very cold and uninteresting, a hotel without a soul. We did not visit the spa, so I cannot say anything. At the reception and the small bar, the girls are smiling and kind, but it is a shame that you did not keep your promise given with a big smile regarding my lost glasses. In short, you can find other hotels in Verona to enhance your stay.

Concerns Regarding Pool and Spa Safety

I stayed at Hotel San Marco for two nights in May 2026 with my mother to celebrate my birthday. The hotel was clean, and the breakfast was good.
However, I was genuinely concerned about the safety of the spa and pool area. I paid extra for a two-hour spa session and happened to be the only guest there. During the entire two hours, no one entered the spa area, and the entrance door remained locked as access is restricted to paying guests. When my mother came to check on me, she was unable to enter.
This made me wonder what would happen if a guest fainted, suffered a cramp while swimming, or experienced another medical emergency. Although there was an emergency alarm in the sauna, someone who became unconscious in the pool would obviously be unable to use it.
I hope the hotel will consider having a qualified lifeguard supervising the pool area, especially when guests are using the facilities alone. Guest safety should always come first.

Very comfortable for short stays.

We stayed two nights in this hotel to attend a show at the Arena. The room is very spacious, modern, and has a beautiful hot tub. The breakfast is plentiful. But the real gem is the pool ... in the city, surrounded by a beautiful lawn with sun loungers. So we took advantage of the hotel’s comforts even during the day. To get to the city center, it is necessary to use public transport or a car. The hotel has an underground parking garage. At the entrance of the hotel, there is a bar service open until late.

Rude

Lovley hotel but rudest people I have ever met no hospitality or anything the manger is a rude disrespectful man me and my family was playing football he charged over swearing and threatening us and took our ball jealous people horrible will never be staying here again disgusting behaviour

Very dangerous, late evening comin home I had the ball out of the hotel in the main streetl on my car and another one in the other direction and if there was a bike or pedestrian moving It was possible to create a harmful situation.
The same morning they ware advised not to play.
It is a garden, with sun beds, flowers and big ombrellas, in the last 20 years we never had people thinking it is possible to play football there is is not a play ground and un the same morning the staff advised not to play.
Never come back again in my hotel, stay where your low-education level is normal.
I never had people like you, incredible behaviuir!
