Fabulous hotel,destanation
Very freindly very wecoming hotel ,all the staff are so friendly and will help u in anyway they can ,there outside areas and inside areas which make it a gem of a place too eat and breakfast we always looked forward too, thankyou too marco and isabella for starting our day so vibrantly ,the roo.s are well catered for and we had a great service always immaculaten on our daliy return from sightseeing ,thearea which the hotel is located from resturants shops and promanade is just perfect and views from the hotel are outstanding ,if you arriving from trainstation its a good walk anything from 20,too 30 minutes there are taxis so no issues at all ,we would certainly reccommend a holiday here as davide the manager was a joy too interact with so many thanks ww most certaily return again

Not good if you're claustraphobic
I hope this review helps someone thinking of booking here. The hotel itself was very disappointing. They messed up our booking and we were given a tiny dark room to the side of the building with a small window looking out to a shady side street. The room although dark and uninviting was spotless and the cleaners changed sheets and towels every day. Reception staff were friendly especially the man who worked during the nights. The hotel had a beautiful rooftop terrace for breakfast but lacked any communal areas to sit. No pool or bar. There was a redundant bar behind reception. The location was the best thing going for it as it was only a few metres from the beach .
The sea was very dangerous for swimmers and had several areas where there were holes and canals in the seabed so you could find yourself out of depth quite easily. Although there were pros and cons to hotel SF , we made the most of our stay but I don't think we'd return. It gave more hostel vibes as opposed to hotel vibes . Hope this review was useful

Run, don’t walk to another hotel
I am literally shocked that anyone would review this hotel well. They mislead you with the photos and say their rooms are “comfortable, modern, and romantic”. They are the opposite of that. Maybe the most expensive level is nicer. I paid $160 a night for an ocean view room and got a 1st floor box that was so small I could t even open my carryon luggage anywhere but on the bed. There are scuffs and chips all over the walls and the room is clearly not cleaned well, as there was grime all over the bathroom door. Worst of all, there was water damage and mold with black areas with a white substance growing on top. I brought this to the attention of the receptionist, a younger man with dark hair, and he was insanely rude. He said the room is what it is and there was nothing that he can do. He didn’t want to call his boss and check to see if there was anything that could be done and asked us if we wanted ti get him in trouble. I am extremely allergic to mold and have had many health issues in the past when exposed to it. This is insanely unacceptable that at this price point I am supposed to stay in a loud, molding room with a bed so uncomfortable that I can feel every sling in it. And then be treated so rudely by staff. I called and made a complain with booking.com. I ended up having to find somewhere else to stay for my last few nights. I have traveled to 38 countries and have never stayed in a room this bad with staff this rude. Even hostels in South America were better than this place for a quarter of the price.
And the big seller was having breakfast in the rooftop with the view and we were informed that even though it was 80 degrees out, they don’t do breakfast there anymore because it was too cold.
I would t bother with this place. There are so many cute options in the area.

Great experience
Beautiful experience, nice clean hotel, nice seafront location, friendly staff and attention to guests, attention also to gluten-free breakfast wide choice of bread, pastries and packaged products. The only downside is the poorly soundproofed standard rooms.

Pretty small rooms, nice terrace for breakfast
Hotel with rooms facing the sea right on the seafront of Viareggio. We took a room on the 2nd floor facing the sea with very small balcony. Room not very spacious, parquet, modern light furniture, closet large enough, various shelves but very few drawers, long desk, numerous electrical outlets, good lighting both natural and artificial, TV but does not take various channels of digital terrestrial, slippers, double pillows. Hang clothes in the lobby. Pretty small bathroom, adequate mirror lighting, efficient shower, shampoo and bath-shower in dispenser. Breakfast is served if the weather is good on a beautiful rooftop terrace or Covered ground floor; modest variety of savoury, cheese, ham and bread of various kinds, no hot food; various croissants, cake or pancakes, fruit salad, yogurt; on the terrace hot drinks are provided by the machines while when Covered breakfast is prepared by the waiters (and are of better quality). Few common areas except the entrance hall. Staff at the reception very friendly and very kind. Cleanliness of the rooms good. The hotel provides bicycles. There is an agreement with the bathing establishment in front that makes a discount for umbrella and deckchairs. Parking in the surroundings is all for a fee; to get to free parking areas you have to leave the hotel about 1 km. In September we paid 150€ per night for double room and breakfast and it seemed aligned with the prices of the seaside hotels in Viareggio.
