The apartment assigned to us was on the 3rd attic floor so a little claustophobic, the cleanliness was average but my son noticed that the glasses smelled of wine, the external areas were rather abandoned... leaves and branches on the stairs, the swimming pool was nice but also 'it seemed to have been left there'.
True that it is adjacent to a forest but too many insects including a country cockroach on the stairs for 2 days.
Just enough communication but not particularly warm.
I would recommend more effort because the place is worth a visit and the surrounding area is wonderful.
The other rooms are much brighter and more airy, those on the lower floors.
Obviously nothing personal or serious.
But I think it is right to point out the neglect identified

nice stay in an old villa
it is an old villa with antiquities and very original.
the garden is beautiful, the pool very nice and Ivano is a welcome host.
we had the apartment on the ground floor which was spacious.
the only disadvantage was the stair to the garden and pool, and we did some cleaning ourselves when we settled in.
in the village you can walk for a coffee and a meal, also there is also a little shop.
