Beautiful environment and simple rooms
The hotel is located in the Carmel forests, with beautiful views and garden. The lobby is beautifully designed and pleasant and the back yard is charming and provides comfortable seating.
The rooms are very clean and no refrigerator!!

Don't expect too much.
Very small rooms, not too many – no kitchen, the compound stands on a shelf next to the towels, the single sink is very small hardly enough to wash the face, there is a window between the shower and the bathroom itself that can be covered with a curtain – very uncomfortable. No table and no chair (no place, each room is about 15 m2) the beds jumping down, in one room there was no soap and no one bothered to check and fill, the room service included only changing towels, not even arranging a bed.
We thought to add money to the Friday meal, but NIS 600 for 2 adults and 2 children without any meat on the menu.
The view is nice and the location is fine, but that's all it is... It was very disappointing, in the pictures it looks like a dream place – actually only meant to sleep after you're all day out.
Costs are not appropriate for exchange.

A great holiday over the shortcomings I mentioned.
We finished a couple holiday + 2 children 4 nights.
The place's crazy with air and views. The people are super nice, especially Rose and my dad are in charge of the food and the coffee house. The pool is excellent. There's plenty of activities around for kids.
The condition of the rooms and cleanliness is not good needed to improve because the place is really amazing.
Overall, the holiday was great and the kids had a lot of fun.

Better know.
My experience at Oren House at Shan has been very unpleasant, and I feel the need to warn others.
During the stay, the owner entered our room without any warning or request of permission, while I was in the shower and my children were outside the room.
As I prepared to get out of the shower, I heard him asking when we were going out—which felt completely disrespectful and inappropriate to behave in front of guests.
Beyond the unpleasant personal experience, I expect a place that hosts people to maintain basic boundaries of privacy and respect.
Unfortunately, following this case, I would not recommend coming there.

Heart pain
It is obvious that the hotel knew more beautiful days.Thought was invested in the beautiful design apparently years ago.Now a criminal neglect of a place with crazy potential.Not clean.Not static.Overlooked.Furniture rooms stairs deserted bathrooms neglected.Heartbreaking.What saves the place is the crazy scenery and nature in which it is located.
