Room and amenities were lovely. I didn’t get to take advantage of the onsen but it looked really nice. Bathroom especially was so pristine and great smelling products. My only suggestion would be to make the stairs available for people to come up and down because the elevator can be very slow.

This hotel was SO comfortable and clean and everyone who worked there was lovely. The rooms were spacious and the bar was fun for a cocktail. The private onsen is a must do and the location is very convenient. Will be coming back.

Excellent Hotel in Aomori

We spent four nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were all friendly and highly professional. The facilities were excellent. Our rooms were well-sized and nicely appointed with a good city view. We didn’t take advantage of the spa, but it seemed to have interesting activities on offer every day. Breakfast was a substantial buffet with some cooked-to-order egg dishes, and the dining area had an elegant atmosphere with nice furniture and large windows. The location is ideal, providing immediate access to the train station and the &Lovina mall. While this is not the most inexpensive hotel in Aomori, the elevated experience justified the additional expense.

My partner and I really enjoyed our 2 night stay at ReLabo. Unfortunately, I couldn't book the two nights on the same reservation, so I had to check out of my first room and check into the second. Thankfully, the staff at the front was able to check me into the new room right away so we didn't need to wait around!
The hotel rooms were comfortable with ample space for lounging. Our first room had a bathtub while the second room had a shower. The amenities provided in the room were sufficient, and the public bath was clean and inviting. I enjoyed the apple bubbling bath in the women's bath a lot! And both times that I went, I was the only person using it in the morning around 8am.
The hotel breakfast was the only thing that wasn't outstanding. While the service was good, the food itself wasn't anything to write home about. We ordered an omelet with scallop sauce, a croque-monsieur, and had some salad and fruits. Nothing stood out but it also wasn't inedible. For the cost, I probably would skip it next time and eat somewhere in the food court of the station since there were so many great options!

The location was the key point for me. Located at the Aomori Station was so convenient. Just exit at the east gate and the lift lobby is at the foot of the escalator. The bus station on location provides easy access to anywhere you want to go, along with a convenient mall, which has dining options as well.
The only gripe is that the room is a little small for 2 pax, with a queen size bed with one side lined up against the wall - there are no king size beds as far as I know. If possible, do request for an east facing room as the afternoon sun was already quite hot in early May.
Did not try the spa packages, but it’s supposed to be known for that in that region. Japan hotels are notoriously missing gyms, so it was quite a pleaaant surprise to find one with not just treadmills but also free weights up to 20 Kg.
The staff was very helpful and they have a great translation screen over the reception which can help tremendously when communicating your requests should you find Japanese challenging.
Overall, I like the place especially for its location and staff.
