The best inn for a sightseeing base in Cape Erimo

The access to Cape Erimo was extremely good and the innkeeper was kind and very comfortable.
The food was hearty and delicious!
The building has a sense of history, which is also tasteful and good.
I visited in January, which is not the tourist season, but it was also a very good memory to be able to arrive at the headland in less than 5 minutes by car, so I was able to go there on time for sunrise.

We had a nice weather.

I took a cheap plan without air conditioning, but it was only cold if I opened the window
There is no toilet or bath in the room, but there was no problem at all
I had a reasonably wide bath first and refreshed

The inn is sifted from the outside but impressed with the food and cleaning of the inn

It is a 5-minute drive from Cape Erimo and overlooks Cape Erimo Port.
　The building is old and seems to be run by an elderly couple and their daughter. Medium-sized Shiba Inu will welcome you again. It is safe to feel a reasonable distance.
　Three family members stayed for errands. Therefore, we had a no-show plan. The inn in Erimo town was only available with breakfast and dinner, so it was a great help.
　The room is very clean.
　Furthermore, if you were selfish enough to just add breakfast, it would be possible for a lunchbox price of 700 yen, and I asked if it would be OK if there were no convenience stores nearby.
　But it was amazingly hearty and delicious: freshly cooked rice with large salmon fillets, kelp rolls, potato salad, simmered dried radish, miso soup, pickles, and freshly brewed coffee to finish. You can expect the original dinner as the whole family will have to refill the rice without thinking about it.
　I thought I couldn't afford hotels in Erimo-cho and Samani-cho between consecutive holidays, so I stayed here, but I plan to use it in the future.
　Even in winter, you can park five or six cars in front of the inn.

Slightly old accommodation but cosy. Only complaint is that it’s extremely dark at night and there’s no night light in our ryokan room. Nice view facing the ocean. We were greeted by fox and deers at the backyard of the accommodation! The common toilet is quite old school and slightly eerie at night. There’s also an onsen downstairs beside the shared common bath but I didn’t try it out.

LOCATION! FOOD! um.....a little faded.

Excellent for one night stay - the location IS on the cliffs overlooking the kombu/kelp harvest beach and small port, and the fish dinner is delicious. But the heyday has passed this family run hotel and things are a little faded, peeling paint, damp carpets in the main bedroom (holes in the window?) and uninspiring dining room. Sea Kayak guide Yanagida-san speaks some English, Koro-the-dog has the longest lead in the world all over the hotel and its parking area and you won't go hungry. Slightly bizarrely - there is 1930s English furniture! But don't expect smart.
