The low price and rating of this hotel considered, this was a very pleasant visit.
The room was according to our expectations.
We picked the place for the location, and felt very lucky indeed.
The staff was kind and helpfull, they could easily raise the rating of the place.
The room and reception was luckily the cleanest part, because the hallways were quite filthy and moldy. The breakfast included was very surprising (in a good way) as well.
Thank you for having us, if we are nearby for a short stay, we will consider this place again.

Overall, our stay was average. The room size was typical for a modern budget hotel — compact but functional. Cleanliness was acceptable, though not outstanding.
The reception experience felt a bit underwhelming, as the staff member who checked us in seemed rather tired and not very welcoming. It was around 10pm, so perhaps it had just been a long day.
The location worked fine for us since we were driving, but it might be less convenient for guests relying on public transport.

At first frustrating but amazing

The checking in and out process SUCKED. You walk into a small entry way and it’s a kiosk with no attendant. We could not figure out for the life of us how to switch the language from Japanese to English. We had to use our translator for the entire process. We almost gave up and checked in somewhere else, but somehow got our key. The check out process was the exact same. Very frustrating. We had a 30 day vacation, visited 9 major cities in both Japan and China, stayed at multiple hotels, and this was by far our favorite. It was affordable, clean, comfortable, and spacious. It had a bed area, closet, dining table area, kitchen - with stove, microwave, refrigerator, and big bathroom. It was great! We were only there for two nights which was a shame, but we enjoyed it. It being next to the train station, across the street from Lawsons was incredibly convenient. The only thing if you go down to the gas station or to the Ramen place it is INCREDIBLY stinky outside. This is because of the Ramen place boils the pork bones for Tonkotsu Ramen and it ventilates into the air, sometimes it makes it down to Lawsons or the train station. It’s the worst smell we ever smelled in our life. But it’s not because it’s a bad area, it is normal for traditional Tonkotsu ramen places which was born in Fukuoka. We were totally going to have some but skipped out on it because of the smell.
