Very lovely hotel, best for solo travellers! I was really surprised that my room was ready at 1pm ish (I was gonna store my luggage at the hotel first lol). The room was very lovely and I really like it. It’s small but got everything I need.

Very close to Hakata Station. Roughly a 7-10 minute walk. So convenient if you need to shop, eat, or get on a Shinkansen.
Like a lot of Hotels in Japan, the room is a little small, yet the bathroom, toilet area; both in their own rooms, divided by a sliding door, were just as big as the bedroom/living area.
I like spacious bathrooms so thats a bonus for me.
My bed had enough space for 2 people, but the living area was only really enough for one person. There is a desk with a TV, so if there were 2 people, one person would have to sit at the desk, while the other person sits on the bed. Its fine, but just be aware of your space.
The entrance to rooms are all connected to a multifloor central atrium, that is outdoors. You wont get wet if it rains, but just something to be aware of.

Budget hotel near Hakata Station. Not recommended with kids

Staff were friendly. Near the Hakata Station my main concern is the cleanliness. Usually when in Japan most of the accommodations are well maintained and tidy but not this one. Upon entering the room I noticed the smell already, found out the carpet itself wasn't cleaned properly (vacuum) molds on the carpet floor, hair on the sink. I dunno if the housekeeping were in a hurry when doing clean up for it was not noticed at all.

Tiny room, a squeeze for 2 people. Tired decor but convenient location, short walk from train station. Disappointingly the dining area is under renovation so no place to sit and eat. Also no access to toilets if you arrive before check in time! This should be advised when booking, but it wasn’t. Will book elsewhere next time.

Really comfortable and big bed. Room was a bit small but perfect for one night. Really friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely stay here next time I'm in Fukuoka.
